Many stains as well as torn section .It certainly was not 4 star as advertised, One had to sit on a bed as no lounge was available and the chairs we uncomfortable, Breakfast was $50 each day for the 2 of us overall it was very dissapointing.

We have stayed several times at Harrigans and each time it feels more run down. Mould in the bathroom due to exhaust fan not working, dirt on tables etc. I could have overlooked this but its the lack of service that has really annoyed us. We left a good shirt in the wardrobe and tried for the 3 days to call them only to be told leave a message and we will get back to you. this didn't happened so we sent an email 3 days latter still no reply. Guess if you stay there be aware to check your room more thoroughly than we did. All we wanted was a reply

We have stayed at Harriman’s a number of times however our recent stay was very disappointing. The motel is very run down. Our room had tired furniture. No soap holder in the shower, had to put the soap on the window ledge! Very basic daily cleaning. Our outside area was full of mould from leaking gutters. Our friends apartment didn’t have guttering at all due to rust! Breakfast was included in our package but when we arrived we were informed that they were not serving breakfast and we had to drive off site to have breakfast. Dinner menu very restricted and not what we had been accustomed to previously. Our room cost $200 per night including breakfast very expensive for the state of the resort! Motel would be lucky to be a 3 star rating.

Apologies for the missed soap holder this has since been replaced, apologies for the gutter as well maintenance is now aware and we thank you for letting us know. Apologies as well for not being aware that you wanted full services during your stay. These are available to all guests upon request, otherwise our housekeeping do the daily service which includes replacing bathroom amenities, making beds, dishwashing, replacing teas/coffees and a general clean up. As for the food, apologies that it was not like you are used to in previous stays. Due to COVID with little business coming to the Hunter we have had to restrict our hours, therefore only operating one breakfast area for our company, last time our sister properties breakfast was closed, where this time around it was ours that had to close. We appreciate you sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Sincerely,

We had arrived for lunch as a group of 10. Some of the party still had QLD licenses (Rockhampton) despite living in NSW. We were denied entry due to QLD, specially Brisbane being in ‘lock down’ however that law extended only in QLD and for residents. Naturally, the above law does not apply in NSW. My partner and I had, had similar issues in the past with Harrigans security staff - security additionally not wearing masks whilst proceeding to tell us to wear masks

Shower floor and walls had no shortage of mould it was filthy. Balcony overlooked the facility’s rubbish dumping area made our balcony unusable. At best it’s a 2 star motel. Bathroom towels stained and had holes in them. Looked like they’ve been used for years there wasn’t much left of them at all.
