Suite was comfortable clean and spacious. Breakfast provided ok but a small microwave would be very handy. The housekeeping staff were so helpful and friendly and could teach the reception staff some etiquette . Reception staff need to listen to guests and not talk over them and this was not just us but numerous other guests were spoken to abruptly...

Very spacious room. 3 of us stayed in a suite for 2 nights. The bed was big and comfy. Pillows not so good. Brekky wasn't the best. We ended up going out for brekky the 2nd morning. Muesli, yogurt and an English muffin isn't my ideal breakfast. A kitchenette would be great rather than a fireplace so you can cook...

We spent two nights here and enjoyed everything. The restaurant had great food and service. The pool was warm and clean. Although a pathway to the pool is needed. I especially appreciated the convenience of the in room breakfast. In the fridge there was orange juice, homemade muesli mix, muffins and yoghurt with berries or passion fruit. Some fresh fruit...

The setting is lovely - lots of trees and vines - very tranquil. The staff were pleasant. The room itself is a decent size with a very comfortable king size bed, small table and chairs and a TV/ bench. The bathroom was adequate although no bench and the shower needed a bleach. The location is perfect for trips to the...

We have just stayed here in a studio room as part of our 3 week trip. This is the first "excellent" review I have made on this trip, everything else has been very good but this was a standout. The room was very modern and extremely comfortable. A great view over the small vineyard. We visited the nearby vineyard Scarborough...

Good stay in Hunter Valley! We booked relatively late and only wanted to stay one night so had some trouble looking for hotels here in the Hunter Valley initially. However we lucked out as based on their calendar online, they only had the Vineyard Studio available for 1 night, so when I emailed the hotel to see if they would...

Very nice comfortable accommodation. We had plenty of space in a vineyard studio, although larger units are also available. Very clean and well equipped. Good value at £116 (about $180) per night in February. Most of the people at Hermitage Lodge were very friendly and helpful (and I am trying to forget how brusque the person was on check-in as...

We stepped out of the car into 40c. Very hot by anyone's standard. 5 paces to reception and we were greeted by a gentle breeze from the A/C and a big smile from Helen. What a way to start our 4 day stay. After a simple, no fuss registration and advice that she had already booked us in for dinner...

I don't often write a Trip Advisor review so it has to be very special for me to do this. Our stay last week at The Hermitage Lodge in Pokolbin was very special! We stayed for 4 days in a suite and we couldn't have asked for more, super clean, fully equipped kitchenette, comfey furnishings, deck overlooking the vineyard and...

We stayed in a Premier Suite at Hermitage Lodge for two nights just before Christmas 2016. The accommodation was exactly as we were expecting and perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12), beautifully located among the vines, spotless, well-appointed with everything we needed and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the spa tub, the...
