A lovely peaceful getaway. The setting is secluded and private, it felt like there were no other guests staying there. Nick and Rebecca are very welcoming and happy to help with dinner and tour reservations. The rooms are clean and spacious, with an open fireplace a bonus during the cold winter months. Being an old building with thick walls, there...

Loved the location in the heart of Polkolbin. Near some excellent restaurants and close to great wine-tasting venues. Open fire in room was a lovely experience in winter. Plenty of wood available. Great value for money, felt special.

My husband and I really enjoyed our Winter escape to the Carriages in what is a secluded location. It is a beautiful Hotel with a lot of warmth and charm. We were upgraded for some reason and enjoyed our stay in one of the rooms on the second floor. We had a lovely fire and enjoyed receiving our breakfast each...

The room was lovely with the open fire place. Unfortunately we did not get to use all the facilities due to weather that weekend. No phone reception or Wifi in the rooms. Breakfast basket was ok. People were lovely. Be nice if there was a restaurant or room service options available.

This was our first visit at Carriages. We had come for a mini-honeymoon and they made us feel so welcome. On arrival we were greeted by their lovely Border collie, Wellington Boots! We were treated to a great little wine tasting of their wines as we checked in, our favorite was the old world style rose (it was by far...

Lovely boutique b&b for a cozy weekend away in the Hunter Valley. Very accommodating staff who kindly arranged our wine tour and dinner restaurants bookings. The Rose from this vineyard is a must try. Breakfast served in a cute basket left at the door each morning. Only criticism is, shower could have been better for this price.

We thought we were the only ones staying all weekend. It was so quiet and peaceful. Beautiful surrounds, close to all that the Hunter has to offer. Our accommodation in a Verandah room was just lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. There was nothing more we could have asked for. The owners and staff were very friendly and...

It was easy to find being located near some of the most well known restaurants and wineries. The reception is small and filled with wine which augered well....

Lovely place to stay for a weekend away either as a couple or in a group. They have a lovely two bed cottage as well as individual rooms. Friendly staff, lovely rooms and very peaceful. Great breakfast delivered to your door and the vineyard wines are very drinkable. We will definitely be back.
