We went up for a quick weekend away out of Sydney and was the first time we had stayed at Casa la vina, it was such a beautiful experience from the breakfast hamper, coffee and sparkling wine in the room and beautifully kept space. It was absolutely perfect and doesn’t have that hotel feel. It’s cosy and homey. We will absolutely be back.

A special place at the Hunter Valley perfect for our first weekend away post-COVID lockdown. With only three houses 🏘 available to rent, Casa La Vina is a wonderful spot, especially for couples. Close enough to most wineries to drive to yet far enough that it felt like we had the countryside more or less to ourselves. The owners, Frank and Tracey, were very friendly and helpful. They created an oasis with everything in line with the Santa Fe style without tipping into overkill. During the day, we enjoyed sampling the Hunter’s finest 🍷 before slipping into the jacuzzi to watch the birds 🐦 come to life in the trees. When night fell, we made dinner in the well-equipped kitchen using the barbecue 🥩 outside and ate in front of the chiminea or fireplace with a good glass of wine thoughtfully provided by the owners. Thank you, Frank and Tracey. We are already thinking about when we can come back!

We chose to stay at Casa La Vina at the end of our honeymoon. From the first interaction we had with Frank and Tracey we were impressed with their care and attention to detail. We were running late for our check in and Frank met us at the door to our villa and provided options on a late dinner in the Hunter.
We found the villa to be exceptionally clean, specific attention to detail for COVID-19 awareness and an overwhelming amount of delicious breakfast options were provided. Casa La Vina is one of the best places we have stayed at. We will definitely book here again given the opportunity to visit the Hunter region.

Within just a few KM of the Hunter Valley Gardens and beautiful vineyards, this was the absolute perfect location for someone visiting the Hunter Valley. However, the accomodation was so lovely, we didn't want to go out! Everything was in pristine condition, the Hot Tub and BBQ was awesome, the breakfast hamper was generous and was plenty for the whole stay. A bottle of wine and snacks were provided. I loved the bath robes and slippers left out for us as well. Was so cosy and lovely. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and there was loads of information on local restaurants and tours left in the room for us. We would love to return for a stay in winter to make use of the fireplace, but the air con was just as nice a relief from a hard summer day of wine drinking... Frank and Tracey, the hosts, are very personable and down to earth. lovely people. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Hunter Valley.

The perfect spot for a special romantic weekend in the Hunter. If you’re looking for an extra special place to stay that is secluded and has everything you need for a romantic getaway Casa La Vina Grand Villa is perfect. The spa was warm, clean and ready on our arrival. The breakfast provided was fresh and plentiful and perfect cooked on the super clean BBQ. We had an awesome stay. Tracey and Frank were very helpful and friendly. We hope to be back!

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at this property. Would highly recommend a stay here if looking for peace and quiet. The villa itself is one of 3, very private, was absolutely spotless and had everything you require for a short stay. The breakfast hamper provided was outstanding! This was our first time visiting the Hunter Valley. Casa La Vina was in a perfect central location in Pokolbin, allowing us to explore nearby and also have a peaceful location to relax, away from all the crowds. We enjoyed the Grand Spa Villa immensely with our private little courtyard, which included our own outdoor spa and little fireplace. Every little attention to detail was thought of, both in and outside of the villa. There were breakfast provisions provided, snacks and a complimentary bottle of wine. Additionally, having a nice gas heater was perfect during our cold winter stay. Our only suggestion to make this a better stay would be to have some sort of glad wrap for any leftovers after cooking on the barbecue. Our 4wd also unfortunately did not fit in the provided lock-up garage, but we did have parking available nearby, which we were thankful for. All-in-all, Casa La Vina made our first trip to the Hunter Valley a complete success, we enjoyed every minute and cannot wait to come visit again in the future!

We stayed 2 nights up in the Hunter for our anniversary and loved Casa La Vina. The villa was the perfect size for 2 people and with its own little outdoor area with spa, we were taken care of. The villas are an easy walk to the centre with McGuigan's, Brokenwood, Roche estate and the gardens. Plus we could walk up to Grapemobile to get bikes to explore further out. They gave us some great recommendations and we walked to the Italian restaurant for dinner which meant we could enjoy dinner and wine and easily walk back. Would highly recommend

This was our first weekend away to the Hunter and with all of the options available it was a somewhat confusing experience trying to find somewhere the 'ticked all the boxes'. If you're reading this - can I suggest that you do what we did and book Casa La Vina!
On top of being in an amazing and prime location, our Villa was beautifully styled, our hosts (Tracey and Frank) were extremely friendly and on-call for any questions and the room was equipped with everything (literally) and anything we could have ever asked for.
We had such a great time and wouldn't bother looking to book anywhere else for our next stay. Thanks Tracey for an amazing time!

Casa La Vina was lovely. I stayed in the Grande Spa Villa and the outdoor hot tub was perfect. The villa itself was tidy and clean. The shower was amazing. The bed was massive. It was easy to find, the self check in was simple and it was nice not having to make small talk after a long drive when arriving 😀. The lock up garage was also a good feature. I think for the price more should be included. I've stayed in similar properties that weren't as expensive and got freshly baked bread and muffins daily and chocolates, picnic baskets, full pantry staples etc - don't get me wrong the food provided was a nice but I would have expected more considering how much I paid.

Our little village is a couples (Adults) escape with only three villas and private and quiet. Our villas - rooms are set up only for a couples escaping for that much needed time away.
There are more places to choose from in the Pokolbin area.
