Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The guy who ran the wine school was so interesting, his presentation skills are excellent. Our dinner on Saturday night at 4Pines far exceeded the previous dinner across the road at The Mill and was so much cheaper. We wish we'd eaten at 4 Pines both nights. Excellent choices for breakfast menu as well.

The room was spacious, well maintained and had a very beautiful view of the garden area. The restaraunt onsite was amazing with delicious food. There was also a lot of activities to do! We will stay here again!

What a great spot for a family stay. We stayed here for one night at the end of school holidays and were amazed at what was on offer. There was a fantastic bar and bistro/restaurant a minute walk away from our room, a pool and tennis courts for some leisurely fun, walking trails and a farm all onsite. The room we stayed in was fine, the bathroom could use an update but this didn't affect our visit at all. Check in was fast but thorough. All staff we encountered from check-in, to the restaurant and the farm were happy to help with everything, and nothing seemed to be a problem. The meals were a fantastic quality as was the range of and taste of the drinks on the menu. I have two kids who are very anxious around animals. They loved visiting the farm and the staff interacted with them and made them feel so comfortable that they both went on a pony ride. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend away, this place has a lot to offer. My kids are already asking when we can go again! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so fantastic.

Hunter Valley Resort ticked all our boxes. The staff we exceptionally friendly and helpful. The property was great for kids (we didn't have any with us but they looked like they were having a great time). The farm was delightful and the walking track was nice for a lap of the property. 4 Pines brewery was great and kept my husband happy. The breakfast was amazing as were all the choices we made for dinner. The view was beautiful. We ate there both nights. We walked to the other wineries that were within walking distance which was great. We went Hot Air ballooning early on the Sunday morning and they allowed us an 11am check out which gave us time to get back and pack which was such a help. The rooms are spacious and each patio looks out to the scenery. We will definately be back

I have organised one of my clients to go to Hunter Valley Resort for wine tasting and lunch for their special client who would like to see Hunter Valley. Hunter Valley Resort is a unique place where it can impressed oversea visitors. I am very happy with all the arrangement from the time that my guests arrived till their depart from Hunter Valley on the day. We were met by Mr Eamonn Hayes - venue manager and directly to wine tasting then follow by lunch with wine matching menu at 4 Pines at the Farm. Every ones thoroughly enjoyed the meals and of course the wines that served. Mr Eamonn Hayes is a hard working man who make sure all of the arrangement run smoothly despite he has million things going on at the same time. My client from oversea since then has continue to send us more groups to different part of Australia.

Great location and very well presented. Large areas to wander around. The wine theatre was very informative and the wine tasting afterwards was brilliant. The host knew his stuff and could answer any questions. He was also very entertaining. Overall it was a very relaxing stay.

We loved our stay with the lovely food and wine tasting. Our room was clean and tidy and the heating was warm. The portacot was great for our toddler. We can't wait to go back and visit the farm this time.
