The accomodation and grounds are quite well done - australian Victorian building style with Italianate gardens. It sounds strange but it actually works well. The room was nice (except for the barking dog next door) and we really enjoyed the gym, pool and tennis court facilities.

What hours do the Restaurant and bar/lounge operate?
The bar/lounge is open 24 hours. The restaurant is open for buffet breakfast then again for lunch & dinner (till a10pm I think).

Sorry for late reply. We had a king bed. There were adjoining rooms. Perhaps you can contact Sebel Kirton directly for more options.

Give them a call if the hotel does not try and and book one of the three day spa's that is in the Hunter. Golden Door been the closest to the hotel.
