Worst motel l have stayed in It's needs a complete revamp It looked unclean l didn't even want to take my shoes off It had an electric cord dangling from the ceiling with an extention board attached for you to use so dangerous We had this room for 2 nights l did bring it to the attention when the receptionist came to the next room (next door )but nothing was done They were not full you would think staying for 2 nights they would of changed our rooms The staff were not friendly at all l did not want to use the restaurant
You get what you pay for. The rooms are perfect for a night or two. When we first got there the room was great and we were very happy with the value for money. However, we later found two cockroaches in the room which was not very appealing at all!! Rooms also had a slight musty smell which was a little off putting. The lady at reception was very friendly however.
Stayed at the Parkview Motor Inn on 11 June 2022 and paid $115 for two adults and a baby in a room with queen bed, single bed, fridge, microwave, kettle, TV, heater, and private bathroom. Parking right outside the room. One-minute drive to central Parkes. Good service and local information from reception. Recommended for a good stay in Parkes.
I stayed one night travelling to Western Plains Zoo. The room is rather spacious (queen double) and has the usual facilities such as microwave, kettle and cutlery. Soap, shampoo is provided. I took a point off as i think a thicker doona is required for a double. I was a solo but if i was a couple i am sure one person would have frozen. The room has a reverse cycle air-conditioner heater but was a little bit noisy and would have been hard to go to sleep with. I paid the basic room rate booking direct which seems to be the going rate in Parkes. It is located on the south side just a little bit outside the center. There was some noise from the nearby semi trailers as it sits on the Newell Highway but it is intermittent noise unless the truck is really braking. Happy to stay there again. Most importantly the hot water in the shower was instant! Wireless was a bit intermittent. Don't expect to watch a youtube video uninterrupted but Facebook seemed okay.…
Travelling from Orange to Parkes we chose this place as a last minute stop over. Room clean and smelled lovely. Linen fresh and clean. Beds were comfy. We were provided all of the facilities that you’d expect for a 1 night stay. Great location. Short drive to town. Would definitely stay again
Clean room. Obviously set up for single occupancy. Bathroom and main room light on one switch air conditioning noisy. Restaurant served lovely rib eye chicken schnitzel lovely but very dry without the advertised gravy. A mixed bag.
At $135 for the night for my family of 4 this was very affordable, comfortable and clean accommodation. My small complaint was that there was no soap. The reception staff and wait staff at the Restaurant were lovely and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
This is a slightly older motel, that was found to be clean and tidy on arrival. The owners were very helpful and friendly, however the family room was quite cramped (compared to other family room motels that we have stayed at) with only a narrow bench under the TV to sit at and the fridge was quite small. Not really a problem for us as we were passing thorough on a one night stay, though our cereal breakfast had to be had in shifts. Families staying longer may struggle to eat and live in the same room we had.
Stayed here on the drive to Queensland, while the facilities are ok, the bed was extremely hard and not what I am used to. This resulted in a very ordinary sleep and hence my poor rating. Would stay somewhere else next time.
Extremely clean room, fresh fluffy towels, comfy bed, easy fast checkin. Friendly owners and staff. Fresh filling dinner at restaurant. Tea/coffee making facilities in room. Excellent priced. Recommended. A+++.
