Could not understand why I was going to be charged more for my stay just because I put the wrong PIN number in? I carry more than one card and I had not used my pin for 2 years because of Covid. Still it worked the second time and we didn’t have to go there. I defiantly would not of paid extra it was a good bluff never heard of that before!!!!!!!!!!

Quick break on our way to Dubbo Zoo BUT wished we had planned more time in Parkes and at this Motel
This is an old-style Motel and we booked it based on reviews.
The Motel has been totally refurbished and totally exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean and light and airy. We booked 3 rooms for our extended family of 11 and the rooms are very generous in size.
Beds and pillows were super comfortable and towels fluffy. Pool was great and nice and clean. They have outside tables and BBQ for eating in.
Manager was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely stay here again if in Parkes region and so should you because the photos online look nice but really do not do this Motel justice as it is better in real life

What a lovely little motel, very clean with some lovely little updates on an aged roadside motel. Wonderfully appointed family room, with bonus ‘The Dish’ dvd which my kids have rated as a perfectly timed highlight of their stay (12,10,10) after spending the afternoon exploring the Radiotelescope. The Manager was delightful, checked on us as we checked in and also as we left to ensure we had a lovely time. Well priced for a restful stopover

Do not recommend this motel or the rude lady at reception. We booked and paid for accomodation through wotif, and on arrival the lady completely disregarded us and said it wasn't her 'problem'. She told us to go away and take it up with the booking company. Here we are, late at night with a 4x month old infant and no accomodation left in Parkes. When the booking site confirmed our booking and payment to this motel, the lady kept hanging up on both of us and the booking company. She refused to assist or rectify the issue. We will be taking this further, and urge any guests looking for accomodation to steer clear of this place and the rude lady that runs it. Upon reading other reviews, I'm now relieved we did not stay here.

Get real with the reviews people. This is a very average, dated motel with small, unattractive, besser block, low ceiling rooms with noise from adjoining rooms and clunking box air-con/heater units that drowned out the TV and woke us up in the night. It was clean and the bed comfortable - OK for a night - but there must be better choices.

Highly recommend if passing through Parkes needing a place to stay with dogs. Clean, comfy bed, good area for dogs to walk. We got a lovely complimentary breakfast, thank you Andrew!
There was a mouse in my mum’s room which kept her awake, difficult to help in a mouse plague though. All in all I would stay again if passing through with dogs.

Older style motel represents great value for money. Immaculately clean, neat and tidy. Very accommodating staff, good position, short drive to restaurants etc. Travelled from Port Macquarie to Parkes so were looking forward to a good rest which we got! Very comfy bed.

Lovely quiet room,hot water took a while to get hot but once it did it was really hot. Pet friendly rooms made it even better for travelling with our dog. Very comfortable bed and room. Good facilities within the room, everything worked well. Very friendly and approachable management that were happy to do anything for us. Totally recommend,we will return given the opportunity.

Booked a family room while travelling up from Victoria. Rachel was very helpful and made our late check in and early check out very easy. We had a family room which was large and provided ample space for us all. Room was clean and comfortable. Motel also had trailer parking which is great.

We stayed for one night with three teenagers. The room was clean and large - serving its purpose well. Had all the amenities a family would need. The pool was great for a quick cool down. Parking right outside room. Clean, budget friendly accomodation in Parkes.
