Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had an Executive King room. Beautifully done, top marks. Spacious and modern. Very quiet location and friendly helpful staff. Best we have stayed at in Orange. Bonus was a new Italian restaurant next door - La Milano - also recommend.

We wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance of the CBD for shops/restaurants which was quiet, clean and comfortable. We almost managed it! This motel was reasonably good however not as quiet as we had hoped. There is a busy road which runs in front of, and at the rear, of this place and it appears the walls are fairly thin too.
Having said that, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were excellent.

What a surprise, didn’t expect this level of service and quality in country NSW. Newly renovated rooms with top end fittings and fixtures. Plenty of vanity space in bathroom, abundant hot water, brilliant supply of shampoos etc, I forgot my toothbrush , hair dryer, iron. Coat hangers not welded to the rail…..yehhhhhh. The bed, oh the bed…top notch, best sleep ever. Only complaints need another suitcase rack if two are travelling. Need a power point with usb next to table to enable workspace, as no other location available. TV control/instructions should be reviewed, but good quality and wifi connectivity top. More things to do locally could be located in room for those of us new to area. Front office staff great service and responsive via email. Hope we get to visit again

My first thought when we opened the door to the room was ..Oh Dear!
Our accommodation was booked by a colleague and I usually stay in more modern accommodation. The room was extremely outdated and in desperate need of a modern makeover. 1980s peach laminate cabinetry and bedside tables that were probably very modern in their day. Brown sheer curtains made the room quite dark. Decor was very tired. Bathroom was the same.
Room would have benefited from the usual inclusions one would expect such as a toaster, some plates, cutlery so guests can make a basic breakfast. Only one towel each provided and no wifi upon check in.
Fresh milk is always a nice touch when checking in however they did provide little plastic UHT milk serves in the fridge.
The location of this motel is fantastic , close to Birdie Noshery, Racine,Spilt Milk, Mary & Tex and beautiful Cook Park.
Fingers crossed that the owners invest some money into updating the rooms and add a few little extras that guests expect these days.

We stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my Mums 85th birthday. We wanted a central location & no bath/shower in the bathroom. I wanted to be able to make toast in the morning, the staff told me just to ask for a toaster upon check in. They were very helpful. When we arrived they put us into the garden cottage which was a lovely surprise as it had a kitchen & plenty of room for us to enjoy afternoon refreshments with our friends. The cottage was a lovely space, very open. The bathroom was spacious & modern with its own heating, a little luxury for those cold nights. We could walk to town for the shops restaurants & pubs!

The hotel is in a great location, only a few hundred metres from the centre of Orange. The room was well-appointed and comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. We wanted to dine at the restaurant attached to the motel, which has great reviews, unfortunately it had been booked out for a few weeks. The hotel staff were able to offer some good alternatives for dining and also places to avoid. Due to Covid, Orange is very popular, so wine tastings and restaurants have to be booked in advance, due to the tourism demand. A good value, well-located motel.

We booked directly with the motor lodge, and were very pleased with the reasonable rates offered. The rooms were well-appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had a great shower and thick towels.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Zona restaurant on site is particularly convenient and has an excellent menu and wine list.
We thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

It's an 80s motel in a bitumen carpark; the heritage surrounds are nearby but a big difference between what we expected and what we found or could use. The lovely lady at reception (Jo, I think) is cheerful, welcoming, friendly and efficient but regrettably we couldn't say the same for (we think) the owners, who found it amusing we couldn't use the bar or restaurant suggested on their website. There's a restaurant next door (booked out for 2 weeks) and one dismal suggestion of 'you could try ...' was the response. OK for a night, as the room was clean and tidy, but we were there for two nights and wished we'd chosen elsewhere.

Stayed at the Central Caleula Motorlodge as our base to attend the Elvis Festival. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Dinners and breakfasts were all nice. All rooms are towards the rear so little or no traffic noises were detected.

Only average and expensive for what you get.
Room is small . Some minor redecoration has been done but this does not justify the room rate.
It is still an old motel with an upgraded bathroom and shutters on the door.
No where to sit comfortably outside, just one chair in a narrow walkway.
I made the mistake booking this based on some earlier reviews.
Am sure there are much better and reasonably priced places in the area.
We won’t be back.
