As other people have said, cannot fault the hotel at all. From the moment we walked in everyone was so friendly and helpful. We stayed downstairs in a wonderful room, king bed, good shower pressure and aircon worked well. The minibar had 2 bottles of water, orange juice and milk included which was a nice touch. Bathroom also had nice products by Grown Alchemist. Breakfast was lovely served in the heritage wing with a choice of lovely items mostly sourced from the region. The location was excellent, walking distance to a lot of excellent restaurants and bars. If you are in Orange, this is the place to stay.

I really cannot fault this hotel. Fantastic location on beautiful Byng St, a short walk to Orange's wonderful restaurants, shops and pubs. A beautiful, historic building with spacious and comfortable rooms. And friendly, helpful staff. We particularly liked: - the very comfortable beds - we slept so soundly! - the fabulous complimentary breakfasts - the cheese plates and other light meals that can be ordered in the evening with an excellent bottle of local wine if you don't feel like going out. We were already planning our next visit as we pulled out of the car park on our way home.

It was like coming home to a beautiful family home, with friends and relatives that value us and appreciate who we are. We came back to the Byng Street Boutique Hotel, having last stayed there as a family just before Christmas last year. Tom and Kristen made us feel so welcome, as did their amazing team. After such a tumultuous year, our stay was a welcome relief for a very important catch up with my wife’s aging father. Last year we stayed in the Heritage wing in two beautiful suites that are the bench mark for luxury anywhere in the state. This time round, we were in a superbly appointed modern wing suite that had everything we could possibly need, and more. Absolutely beautiful, comfortable and a real privilege to be able to stay once again at our “home away from home” in the thriving regional centre of Orange. We can’t thank Tom and Kristen enough for our experience, and their wonderful staff who just made the stay perfect. Wonderful room, superb breakfast and just another wonderful experience. We are excited about coming back to Orange to celebrate my wife’s fathers 90th birthday, which will be a wonderful celebration made so much more special as we can hopefully stay in Byng St. Thank you again, and make sure you treat yourself to a special experience next time you head out to Orange!!

With my wife and her friend, who were both born and bred in Orange we decided to spend a short getaway in this great city. We had to wait for a few weeks as this hotel is very popular and is nearly alway booked out. Our stay was well worth waiting for. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast were a great way to start the day... you MUST have the home made Granola. Even though there isn't a 'restaurant' facility, light meals can be ordered for an evening meal. A bonus is the side gate of the hotel that leads directly into the Ferment Wine Store, where tasting are held on a daily basis... but more of that at another time! The owners of the hotel - Kristen and Tom, were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Special mention to some of their customer facing team - Emma, Rebecca and Tina who also made our stay memorable. Cant wait for a return trip in 2021.

The Cicada symphony is not the only buzz emanating from leafy Byng St in Orange - and for good reason. Because if you still haven’t heard about the majestic Byng Street Boutique Hotel, you soon will. Proprietors Kristen and Thomas Nock have delivered a jewel for the Central-West with this superb designer hotel built partly inside Yallungah, one of many stately homesteads one street back from the main street of Orange. Luxurious rooms, a superb breakfast and generous touches of hospitality class (teas delivered to your room at night, beds turned down) make a stay at Byng St Boutique Hotel a genuine pleasure. We absolutely loved staying here, in the midst of Orange’s wonderful food & wine precinct. Make sure you pack the runners as a morning walk to nearby Cook Park is a must! The Byng Street Boutique Hotel is off the top shelf. Superb.
