Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Room 104. The bed was very comfortable. The room itself is big enough for a queen bed, a couch and a table with 2 chairs. The room was clean. Microwave, toaster and kettle were all clean. The bathroom has been updated with a rainfall shower head and hand held shower too. Plenty of soap and shampoo in containers on the wall. Decor is a bit tired. The location is excellent, you can walk all over town. The on-site Indian restaurant was very good. Would stay again, good value for money if you're not too precious.

You get what you pay for, so don’t expect much given this place is relatively cheap. It is, though, well located in the middle of town, and despite what some other reviews have said, the beds in my room were comfortable. But beyond that, there’s not much to praise. Room was small, tired and in need of an update, and we could hear noise from adjoining rooms. If you want an place simply to sleep and don’t intend to spend time in your room, you might consider this place - otherwise maybe pay a bit more and look elsewhere.

I guess you get what you pay for. This motel is on the cheap side for Orange. The room was average in size. There is a small fridge, microwave, TV, tea and coffee making things, however, the big draw back is the electricity went out twice. The first time it was able to be turned on again but the second time there was nobody around at 7.15 in the morning even though the hours of opening stated the reception was open from 7 am. So we could not make a cup of coffee in the morning we left or watch the news on TV as there was no electricity. We weren't the only ones. All the rooms in that wing of the motel had no electricity. The only good thing about the motel is it is quiet and in a good location.

Came to Orange to see family and we wanted somewhere inexpensive to stay. Not expecting glamour, just value for money. First night, no parking available and had to park on the street. Left the motel for the day, came back to an unserviced room. Then my elderly mother asked me on the last morning if she could use the shower in my room as she had mo hot water to shower the night before. We went to just discuss the issues on check out at 8:30am and the office was locked. Called the number provided, I went to explain, and was hung up on. Attempted to call back and call was unanswered. As said, I didn’t expect glamour for 3*. But I do expect a standard. Will not be back!

Absolutely disgusting room, couch has stains all over it, bed was dirty, floor was filthy, cupboards falling apart and outdated, existing gas pipes still on the wall just tapped off, bathroom was half renovated with the ceiling unpainted and door jams rotted. Only half the power points worked in the room, so they had a 4 point power board to use, one light didn't even work at all. An existing door separated the rooms which was just locked and could hear everything in the next room, Would not recommend this place at all to anyone, will not be staying there again, and I am a person happy to stay in a swag on a riverbank and that would be better then this dump.

First arrived had to change rooms because toilet was leaking, dead cockroach beside toilet. Cleaning staff have no idea on how to clean room, I was left with dirty coffe mugs for three days, I mentioned this first day and nothinig was done, came back to room after day two to find my breakfast tray still in the room, all I got from reception was sorry without a lot of meaning. Day 3 my poached eggs on toast arrived only to find I had to cook the toast myself, the eggs were place on a plate by themselves.
I travel all over Australia & New Zealand for work and this has to be the worst place I have ever stayed at. Would have better in a tent on the side of the road would have been less noisy

Room stunk of sweaty feet on arrival !
Carpet was sticky , coffee table had coffee and tea stains on . Walls and doors had big chunks missing .
Bed was comfy to be fair but that’s about it . A fair few dodgy characters knocking about shouting and carrying on .
Had what sounded like a pigeon and a Rat /Possum scratching around in the wall / ventilation system all night !
Only slept a few hours due to that reason .
I wouldn’t let my dogs sleep there !
Do not be deceived by the pictures when looking to book a place . Had 2 nights booked due to working in the area but ended up leaving after 1 and going to Bathurst!
Long story short , it’s a Rotten filthy hole and I wouldn’t pay $20 for night there never mind $160 👎

The place is extremely small room for two people. No parking outside your room. All other in accommodation take it. The bed is old so your head is up no support for your back and legs up in the air . A broken chair in the room you keep bumping into no room. Bathroom has paint , tiles off walls and cracked. Extremely small bathroom. Bathroom window no screen bugs in all stay.

This motel is right in the centre of town. Close to supermarkets, shops pubs clubs and restaraunts. It is not fancy but nice and clean with good rooms a small fridge and even a microwave. Towels are replaced every day and the staff were good. Walls are a little thin so if neighbours are noisy have earplugs. But nothing you can do about that. If you want a good solid clean and convenient motel in Orange I would recommend this place.

Answer from OverlanderIndian
Orange, Australia
Hi Robyn, We do have Rooms with Electric blanket as well but it needs to confirm by calling reception while booking. Continental and hot breakfast is offered in room service in the morning which is charged based on what you order. We do have onsite best Indian restaurant in NSW central west, it also offers Australian Meal, it is open 7 days a week for Dinner.
