We were to attend a family wedding in Newcastle in November and wanted to be close to our family in Islington. As we had stayed there before in April we booked and paid a deposit for a three bedroom apartment and a one bedroom apartment to accommodate all eight of us. Two weeks before the wedding we received a phone...

During my stay in Newcastle, I was able to enjoy many experiences far and wide, from Darby Street to Charlestown Shopping, however it was certainly not Central Apartments. After arriving into Newcastle, I found my search engine and typed away, seeking a couple of nights accommodation. Expedia recommended a small cheap place but resided in a "not so" popular part...

The apartments are in a residential street just on the edge of the Islington industrial area. Very quiet and we heard no noise from neighbouring rooms (other than the laundry as mentioned below). Seem to be some longer term residents there as well as the shorter stays. Very impressed by the cleanliness of the apartment and the kitchen was well...

IGNORE ALL OLD REVIEWS. They were submitted before this property's recent refurb. The 2br apartment I occupied for 1 night (work-related in Sept 2014) was HUGE with a large balcony, 2 bathrooms, new (full) kitchen and laundry. In fact, everything appears to be new, including the restaurant down stairs where I enjoyed a lovely dinner. There is free under cover...

Handy to Newcastle for work or a relaxing weekend. Smallish rooms but suited my working stay in the area. Good quest laundry available and a nice patio / bbq area out the back. Parking is only on the street , which can be a hassle with work tools.

Looking for somewhere in the area for my Mother for a weekend, I was lucky enough to be able to inspect the apartment beforehand with the owner. I was pleasantly surprised with the size and cleanliness for the room, and my Mother was more than comfortable and felt very safe staying here by herself, and we were both impressed by...
