From the Snugglepot and Cuddlepie fabric seating in the eating area, to the gum leaf stained glass windows, this Heritage home is a tribute to its owners', Col and Loraine, dedication and work. They have created a comfortable, welcoming haven for travellers, full of memorabilia and whimsy, as well as the practical elements we look for to make our travels...

What a delightful find this gem is. A really good location close to restaurants, transport and nightlife. The hosts could not have been any more help and the room was great. Breakfast was sensational and we checked out feeling like we had made friends. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all.

What a great find this was. We arrived late and tired. Rang Colin at last minute, he met us at car and made our Chilli (mini dachy) as welcome as we were. Easy access to back yard was a bonus for midnight puppy toilet. Breakfast expansive and delicious menu. Would most definitely recommend.

Recently stayed there for a quick night in Newcastle. B&B has a period-appearance from the early 1900's -location is a few km outside of Newcastle CBD with lots of restaurants and cafes that are a few blocks away. Major pluses for this facility: they allow dogs to stay in your room, the hosts are very welcoming and dog-friendly and they...

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay. The room was a good size, had a comfortable bed and a massive bathroom with loads of hanging space. The facility was very practical and contained anything from showering products, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, to a first aid kit. Breakfast was the absolute highlight. The menu was packed full of choice and was extremely...

Our family of four adults recently stayed two nights at the Hamilton Heritage in the Grandiloquent Suite. My eldest son was particularly interested in the California Bungalow style of architecture, but practically we chose to be close by the Gallipoli Legion Club as my younger son was attending a chess tournament there. We had the use of the parking space,...

We stayed one night here while attending a family birthday party nearby. Perfect location, half way between the train station and our party. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and provided everything we could have possibly needed to make our stay comfortable. Comfy beds, good bathroom, lovely lounge areas. A couple of buts: a little stuffy, with a bit of...
