Last minute decision for a weekend getaway. The location is lovely.. Walking distance to a lot of beach and lots of eateries. Parking- its a game of chance. You have to pay for parking on the street in front of the hotel (if there is a spot at night), and its extra charge to park in the locked hotel car...

The location great, right next to the beach, the room was large and the price was good but it is not worth the low price. The whole place is in need of upgrade and service is non existent. The room smelled and I woke up to find a cockroach crawling on the bed. Not a nice feeling. The place advertises...

This is a hotel without reception Email sent with entrycode was wrong They appeared to have forgotten about my booking. A long and costly intercontinental phone call (to be paid by me) was necessary to correct their mistake Rooms were only marginally clean; cockroaches are included in the price (which is quite expensive) as well as a broken safe

A Horrible hotel system: no lobby, only contact by email and phone. The email which should contain an access code was sent a few hours before scheduled arrival, and not 24 hours before arrival. And did NOT contain an access code. When calling, they could not find my reservation, and it costed me 40$ of phone costs before I received...

Good location; Right beside nobbys beach & 5minute taxi from warf. Room was clean and basic. Shower head is a pain for tall people as it's very low. Secure parking underneath if selected during booking. HOWEVER the one thing we really weren't impressed about was not being told it was 22 dollars extra for parking AND it was taken from...

I didn't read the reviews before booking and if I had I probably wouldn't have booked. We stayed here because of the location and Noah's was all booked out. It wasn't awful, just meh. The keyless entry was new for me but there were no issues, it just felt creepy not having a reception. The room hasn't been updated since...

Just checked in to a smelly room at the Newcastle Beach hotel. Not even sure if the bathroom has been cleaned. If not for the fresh towels, I would suspect we'd checked into the wrong room! There's no front desk staff, nobody is answering the local number listed on the kiosk and the mobile number posted on the door has...

I stayed here for 4 nights, not what I thought it was.... The smell of mould was present when I stepped into my room, so strong I thought I would be sick. I found mould on the curtains and mould and rotted floors inside the cupboard. The carpets were filthy and stained as well as the lounge and arm chairs....

I am not a stranger to budget accom, nor am I overly picky about little things. But little things add up. We're still in the hotel, checking out in 20 mins. Here are the experiences of us and our friends. GOOD Great location BAD 1. No code sent - had to call, and staff insisted they'd already been sent. Nope....

The name of the hotel sounds enticing, but there were no views of any sort other than a grey wall and lattice. The good: Close proximity to the beach. Reasonably priced compared to others in the area. The bad: No views at all. Couldn't contact anyone to use the car park so had to feed the meter $4.00 out the...
