Detailed Reviews
Quest Apartment Newcastle is great! There is a light rail stop right across the street to get you in to Newcastle Beach, the beds are comfortable, the place felt homey without having a bunch of stuff for our toddlers to break. There was enough room for the 4 of us in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was also great to have 2 bathrooms. Our kids enjoyed the spa and pool. Parking was convenient though steep for Newcastle at $25 a night. The Happy Wombat next door was great for breakfast but a bit noisy at night with people having beers out front and a musician playing. Overall would highly recommend for families!

Great check in, very easy. Parking is on site but very busy at this time. Supermarkets very close by. The restaurant downstairs was excellent. Waterfront is walking distance with restaurants, etc - it is a quiet part of town. Recommend driving to the beach or taking the light rail - too far to walk, especially with children. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean but it was in need of a refresh and refurb. More bathroom soap, cutlery and kitchen essentials like detergent needed. Room 209 had a car park view. Staff were excellent.

We originally booked two nights at Quest over the New Year 2020/21 period. Due to covid, we could not confidently get to Newcastle. Quest were great with me postponing the credit we had. They originally gave we 12 months but because that even proved difficult with Queensland border restrictions they extended it to 18 months. I am so grateful for this! The location in Newcastle is great within easy walk of quite a few nice restaurants and bars and easy access to the beach from the Honeysuckle tram. The rooms were sizeable and gas washing facilities which was great when we were driving from Melbourne to Brisbane over two weeks. Thank you!

Quest is located smack bang in the middle of newcastle city.plenty of restaurants and nearby amd beside it and access to the new Tram amd Harbourside promenade.
The servuced apartment has everythimg you would need from home, washing machine, microwave, stove, all in the comfort of your own apartment. Depending on the year it is priced competitively but lacks a nice view compared to other places in the vicinity. A good place to stay with the family. Always clean and have the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in.

Would recommend staying at Quest, very obliging check in service, with maps provided and suggestions as to where to eat and explore. Apartment is spacious, comfortable, with king size bed, and all you need if you are staying a long time. Bonus having Netflix. There is not much down this end of town, but easily walkable to waterfront and Derby Street areas. Great cafe next door. We opted to pay for the parking, good size parking lot and saved the hassle of the metered street parking

We had a large room, with a magnificent view - of the car park. It costs $30 extra to park your car on site. Do not lose your room's key card or the car park gate buzzer - for non-return there's a $5 fee for a card, or $150 for the gate buzzer!

Stayed at the Quest Apartments during a recent trip to Newcastle for a anniversary weekend getaway. I can not fault the apartment and facilities. The apartments were spacious, spotless and quite. The location was perfect: a stone throw away from Honeysuckle Waterfront, Honeysuckle Tram Stop & Hunter Street which hosts many Cafes' and Resturants. Staff made us feel very informative and made us feel welcomed, and provided a lovely gift to help us celebrate our weekend away. Housekeeping was fast & efficient. We be returning in the near future and will not hesitate to stay with Quest on other ventures.

We staying in a three bedroom apartment. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. A short walk out the back of the Apartments was the Wests club for a very reasonably priced dinner as well as Woolies and Dan Murphy's for supplies.

I wanted an apartment hotel, and I had usually stayed at another property, but their prices have become ridiculous, so I chose the Quest somewhat on price really, though I had stayed in Quest hotels in Invercargill and Dunedin and found them very good and worthwhile. This Quest is very similar to the NZ ones, well set up, good size apartments, good facilities all round. We worried that this was less well located than our preference but in fact it's quite good, you can get on the tram to go up town or to the beach and there are plenty of shops close by. It would be good if they had an intercom on the garage gate as you can never park anywhere near the front entrance.

Location was great. Rooms were spacious. Onsite parking was not advertised as an extra cost but on street parking was sufficient. Enjoyed the Happy Wombat restaurant next door. Disappointed with no Austar. Internet was fair. Kitchen and laundry facilities were very good.
