Such a great location, right across from the beach. Check in was great, they couldn’t be more helpful. Free under cover parking. Comfy bed & room service was delicious. Bathroom has been renovated - with a view of the beach from the shower! Close to cafes and restaurants would stay again

I stayed here for one night, two days, for a business meeting. I had lunch, dinner and breakfast here too. My room was overlooking the ocean and was very clean. The bathroom had been renovated recently. The bed was very comfortable. Because of Covid-19 Noah's had taken all hygienic measures in the reception area, restaurant and in the bedrooms. I was in the downstairs function room for the business component and my colleagues and I were all spaced well apart and had hand sanitizer etc. The view overlooked the beach and we saw dolphins surfing and whales breaching, and it was fabulous. I would like to name check Lyndelle who looked after us for the two days and she was amazing and even remembered all our coffee orders individually! For meals it was all a la carte because of Covid-19, and the tables were spaced well apart etc., with a fabulous view over the beach. I loved the seafood chowder which I had twice, and the fish and chips was nice too. My colleagues enjoyed their meals too. I would definitely stay here again.

We spent just 1 night here in an ocean view room and loved it. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and we were able to upgrade for a cost to an ocean view room. The views were spectacular (4th floor) and we had a balcony. The bed was comfy, we had a mini bar and tea\coffee making with fresh milk provided at the front desk when we checked in. Across the road from the beach and a short walk to the centre of town, we will certainly stay here again.

Room and booking process were faultless. Room was as described neat and newly renovated bathroom.
We prepaid for breakfast, it was very poor, and very basic. I had ordered eggs Benedict and an latte. The eggs came out on a plate as one store bought muffins cut in half lightly toasted smother in half cooked bacon and two poached eggs accompanied with a small pourer containing the béarnaise sauce. The plate looked empty. There was no greenery (spinach) or anything else on the plate. My wife ordered poached eggs, avocado and toast. She also requested a juice, this we had to pay extra for as not included in breakfast package, (first time in all our travels overseas and local we have had to pay extra for juice let alone a second latte). This breakfast plate came out with two poached eggs, half an avocado sliced and two small slices of sour dough bread, all looked lonely. The eggs were cold and inedible.
The staff - majority of the staff did not seem happy or friendly. I understand the COVID rules but their general demeanor was I don't want to be here. May be staff training in customer service would be a good idea.
Educate bar staff in simple math rather than having them asking the patron, how much change do I have to give you. (Could have made some money here luckily I was honest or just stunned).
Dirty linen bags left on floor/foyer outside check in /check out times, room cleaning no staff sighted in areas working.
Comparing prior stays here there appears to be a distinct decrease in food quality and customer service.

I stayed at Noah's on the Beach in September, 2019 and had a lovely stay. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Noah's is in a great location, right opposite the beach where you can surf, swim in the ocean or in the ocean pool.
If you are staying at the motel I definitely recommend booking an ocean view room as the view is stunning and a great place to watch the sunset from your balcony.
The meals at the restaurant and the breakfast are also lovely.
There is onsite parking, however it is very tight in larger vehicles like SUVs and 4wds.
I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for our anniversary, just one night. While the hotel is old, it certainly doesn’t feel stuffy or outdated. Our room was on level 3 overlooking the beach, and you just can’t beat that. Leave your balcony door open for a beautiful sea breeze, and you can just watch the ocean and passing parade for hours. Not just that, it is an easy walk to everything - cafes, bars, pubs, restaurants, beaches, harbour foreshore, breakwall - everything. You certainly don’t need to use the car at all during your stay. We didn’t use room service so I can’t comment on that. Bathroom had been renovated very well, to even include a window in the shower at head height overlooking the view - hubby loved that! We did dine at the restaurant and were disappointed, was not of the standard we expected, particularly for the price. Will do a separate review for that. The hotel itself was great.

I have stayed at Noah’s a number of times due to work travel. The staff are always polite and friendly and the food is delicious whether you order room service or choose to dine in the restaurant with an incredible view of the ocean.
Some of the rooms are a bit dated and the view from one side of the building is pretty average, so ask for a renovated room or a room with a view!

My partner and I always stay here when we visit Newcastle mostly because of its location! The room rate I believe is fair when you get to wake up to absolute beach views with balconies when booking that side of the hotel. We love the mid ocean floor! Impressed with the bathroom renovations but in all honesty why aren’t the rooms furnished with king beds? Most of the high end hotels in Newcastle that are located on the water all have king size beds for the same price if not cheaper! I find your queen beds quite hard also! It would be a 5star rating if not for that. But all in all we really enjoy staying here! Update and furnish with king beds! Please!

Visiting family in the area and came across this great hotel. We had a harbour view hotel which was lovely although the beach view would apparently be better. The room was more than adequate, the bathroom had obviously been recently upgraded with lovely tiling and a great shower. The window from the bathroom into the room would be disconcerting to those who were not in a personal relationship but the natural light into the bathroom is welcome. The fresh milk given at reception was a nice touch and the fridge a plus as not many UK hotels provide one. It was great to cool our drinks before exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of options. The pancake machine was awesome! Plus we had a great view of the coast and got to see a pod of dolphins playing within reach of the surfers preparing for the weekends competition!! Sadly too far away for pictures! All in all a great hotel and we would return if we had the opportunity.

Hi Julieanne, Buses are available from Newcastle airport to the interchange as mentioned by 960trinab, I would highly recommend checking the bus schedule. Alternatives available include taxi's, Ubers and hire cars.
