We always love having our guest come back, when working away from home its nice to stay at a place that offers a more personal, friendly service, somewhere that makes you feel welcome. Hope to see you again soon

Had an overnight stay and would stay again. My room was on the small and basic side but was clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice cold beer in the main bar and a decent selection on the menu in the dinning room. If you are passing through Newcastle the Sunnyside is worth a look.

I attended my brother-in-law's 70th birthday party at the Sunnyside Tavern last night and the whole experience was wonderful. They had the function room booked which also included an outdoor patio. The finger food was beautifully done and the staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. We booked a room there for the night and was blown away when we...

Very quiet rooms and excellent menu and great staff made the beers in the pub taste better. I picked this hotel because of the price and it was good value. The rooms were large and had large new ensuites. I'd stay again.

Wasn't sure what to expect as these are mainly rooms above a TAB, but bedrooms are new and modern, service is friendly, food downstairs was great and good value and there are some nice touches like a kitchen down the corridor with coffee machine & free coffee pods. Only downside was the internet didn't work very well and the road...

The staff are lovely. The room was warm and cozy. The food in the downstairs Tavern was really good. The complementary bottle of wine was the winner of the night. The location is really handy to public transport Will stay there again if I'm ever in Newcastle.
