If you want a clean comfortable room with a bathroom, comfy bed and quiet then look no further. Quiet surroundings and the 'pub' noise does not penetrate the room as long as you keep your window closed. If you have a room with a balcony it's superb.

It is cheap, clean and in the perfect position. I think this is the fifth time we have stayed here. We try and avoid room 10 as it is tiny, but if you are only chasing a bed it will do. We stayed in Room 9 this time and the balcony is very cool and very old and you can actually see the ocean from it. Staff are friendly and very helpful, they insured our room was ready for an early 1:30 check-in on Saturday.

The Grand Hotel is centrally located with lovely clean rooms, some with a large balcony that allows for a quiet drink in the evening bathed in late sunshine. Mike is a tremendous host - accomodating, friendly and helpful. The pub downstairs offers wholesome fare and is a relaxed venue for couples and families. The Hotel represents great value for money. Highly recommended.

Firstly I do apologise about the cockroach .. We get the pest control in every month .. As far as your other comments!!! Unfortunatly you booked a small inside room as stated on our website It is the smallest and cheapest room that still has its own bathroom ,fridge ,coffee ,tea, air conditioned ceiling fanned hair dryer .... we have beautiful large rooms with huge balconies some total area of approx 60 square meters. We do say on our website that it is street parking only or there is a secure parking station accross the road. As it states on our website that we will charge your card on receipt of booking, however since Covid we now charge on day of arrival , we also offer full refund on cancellation up to midday on day of arrival. It also states on our website and booking .com that we do not have a lift. Our staff are always ready to help with bags. We are in a working city and yes that does sometime comes with noise.Sorry. If you give us another chance I would be happy to show you around the hotel and show you other rooms. Please contact me direct if you feel the need.
