The Tudor Inn has plenty going for it: reasonably rates, friendly and helpful reception staff, undercover parking and the restaurants of Beaumont street a short walk away. My room was excellent, spacious, nicely decorated and with very comfy king-size bed plus a single bed. Bathroom was fine too and the room had all the standard motel accoutrements including microwave oven...

Very good in terms of value for money but a fairly no frills experience. Staff were ok, rooms were clean enough (I took my shoes off) amenities okay but definitely old school accommodation. Having said that my bed was really comfortable and the air con worked really well. I'd stay here again perhaps if I was looking for this location.

Stayed at the Tudor Inn to see Human Nature. We had booked 2 nights but had to cancel one as were evacuated because of bushfires. They were so understanding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was light, airy and very clean. Close to restaurants, railway and entertainment centre.

I just really like this place. If you want high end features, modern rooms and a view of the wildebeests across the Serengeti then look elsewhere and pay double the amount. What you get is great proximity to Beaumont St and all it's eateries, really friendly service and clean well kept rooms. And it's only $125 night! I've stayed here...

We were attending an event at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre and this hotel is a short 20 minute stroll away. The room was quite large and extremely clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The undercover parking was much appreciated.

Good bed, nice clean simple room. There's no lift but not a tall building. Terrific for overnight stay. The showers have a request for a 4 minute time limit. I imagine that they run out of hot water if everyone doesn't play nice.

Easy to find, free easy undercover parking, and easy to check in and out of. Super clean, fresh and has everything you need, especially a little balcony if you like fresh air and the sound of the birds. I was in room 29, which faces the school and the park, and it was very pleasant. Quiet with the door to...
