We had an auction holiday. Friday and Saturday night. Had to pay a surcharge. Didn't mind, but missed out on 3rd night free due to covid. Bottle of wine on arrival. Didn't receive. Continental breakfast for two mornings delivered after 7 Friday night. Bread was dry by Sunday morning. Fridge had a smell. I cleaned it. Sour milk under the crisper. ( That was as soon as we arrived) Water went brown while in the shower Sunday morning. Pressure was great though. Bed was very firm. Otherwise great. Within walking distance to Moama bowling club. Fantastic meals and service at the club.

We had a 2 bedroom room. The room looked a bit tired, needs renovations particularly bathroom but very clean, everything in working order. The room was very spacious and comfortable. They have some lovely facilities (pools and bbq areas) but we were only there overnight so did not use them. They have electric vehicle charging available. The lady in reception was wonderful, very friendly and helpful.

We always stay at Meninya Palms as the owners have always looked after us so this year we thought we’d pay a bit extra and get a spa room. But we were really disappointed. Must be new owners - the Chinese people were very nice but just didn’t get it.
We got into the room and noticed heaps of small spiders and a dead cricket and not to mention a few cockroaches. (I realise the humidity at present attracts them)
The linen as always was clean but the spa bath was not clean as there was a stain like a burn on it? The shower, well honestly we wore thongs because it looked like a shower block even the air vent was full of dirt/dust and the tiles look like the floor was sinking. Although the water pressure was lovely.
In the main bedroom the headboard looked like it needed a good wipe down and all hard surfaces really needed a good wipe too and a good vacuum including curtains headboards behind beds in between microwaves etc.
We were only asked if we wanted fresh towels on the last night of the stay (4 nights) we had to go to reception to ask for dish detergent and sponge as none in room.
The outdoor area we ended up sweeping ourselves.
We had really been looking forward to this trip after coming out of covid in Melbourne and couldn’t believe that extra care wasn’t taken to ensure pristine cleaning.
Recommend to new owners to spend some money doing the place up a bit, especially the spa rooms. And having a checklist when cleaning the rooms. Our poor friends in the room two doors down had dirty spa bath with flies and both shower and toilet flooded.
If you do stay here stay in the smaller cheaper rooms much better. Very sad indeed as we used to always stay here before this. Unless Renos done and additional cleaning we won’t be back as an autoimmune compromised person I’m not prepared to compromise on cleanliness.

Have stayed here several times (every Christmas/new years) over the past few years. Questioned the new owners if they were new Management and was told no they were only filling in once a complaint was made found out that they are infact the new owner's. Cockroaches and Spiders were found in the bathroom & on the beds on arrival & during our stay, The bath had not been cleaned and had dead flies and stains in it, the water was brown when we went to use the bath. Beside the microwave were several flies, behind the beds and couches, were cobwebs and dust, there are also visible stains on the carpet. The outside table and chairs were covered in dirt and had not been wiped so could not be used. The rooms were not serviced at all during our stay as they have been in the past. The shower drain was blocked along with the toilet, this was reported and not immediately fixed, when going to use the shower again the bathroom flooded, a Plumber was eventually called although we were unable to shower before our dinner reservation. New owners were not interested in a fair refund. Won't be staying here again!

Great place. Booked and re-booked 3 rooms for a group of bowls - no problems and very helpful lady on reception. Rooms far bigger than expected, clean and bright. The little touches were covered like cork screw, mugs, wine glasses extra pillows and blanket. Big plus was chairs. 2 out front, 2 at inside table for dinning, plus another area for computer, 2 tub chairs with little table to watch TV from. Then out the back over looking the garden a table with 2 chairs. All to make life easy and enjoyable We had rooms 22, 31 & 40.( A couple of weeks ago we stayed in a room with 1 chair.)

On a recent business trip I had been booked into this establishment hosting our function. In my allocated room I immediately noted ants in my bathroom sink; then black mould in the shower grouting. Two queen sized bed, both were like sleeping on rocks (a sleepless night). Needing extra cushions I pulled the spare cushions from the floor of the wardrobe and found them covered in an unidentified black substance before I disturbed a spider that ran across the bed. Pulled out the extra blankets in attempt to soften the bedding to find the blankets with holes.
No curtesy biscuits, other nibbles or minibar.
Complained the following morning and was upgraded to a supreme room but establishment didn’t want to know about the problems I had experienced.
During the two days I noted a Very tied establishment in need of a major overhaul. Even the conference room had missing light covers over the fluros’ that were covered in old brown cobwebs. Two out of the three toilet cubicles remained out of service and unattended to during the conference.

I purchased this as a Travel Auction & I am very disappointed in the condition of the room & ensuite. The shower base had been painted & the paint had lifted. No Retururant open & no bottle of wine on arrival. I gave it to my Daughter as a gift & I feel that I have been sucked in. I will never bid on Travel Actions again. A bad experience.

We spent 4 nights based here on a tour to the Echuca Moama area with 34 people from my retirement village. A large motel with blocks of ground floor units spread over grounds. Poor meet and greet on arrival, basic room well equipped with microwave, toaster, though no bath mat plates or cutlery. Main Bar not stocked with enough pre dinner drinks, no couches in bar area, very basic plastic chairs and tables in dining area, most comfortable dining chairs stacked away not for our use. Basic cooked breakfast served each morning, no variety, no fruit, choice of 2 bland cereal packets, sandwich bread for toasting. Beds not made up each day, only when I left bed completed rearranged was it straightened out. Enthusiastic departure commentary when staff member boarded coach to wish us well. Needs lots of TLC, better management for large groups and more training of staff.

The room was quite dirty and smells like urine. The shower was mouldy and hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Curtains were torn and ratty.
Rooms are big and have a microwave. Plenty of storage for a short stay. Staff are nice
Hopefully just trying to get back up after Covid.
