Echuca/Moama's Family friendly Motel - 27 ground floor rooms all opening onto the courtyard garden and solar heated salt water pool, our hidden oasis! A guest BBQ area, lots of shady trees to sit under with plenty of tables and chairs to have a meal or just sit and relax. A variety of rooms are available to suit most travelers. A limited number of pet friendly rooms are also available subject to motel approval, please check with us. We are ideally set up to cater for large groups with various packages available, just give us a call.

We were pleasantly supplied when we stayed for 3 nights at this motel. The room was larger than the normal motel rooms. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was more than adequate and contained shampoo, conditioner and mosturiser. A hair dryer was supplied along with an Iron and ironing board. A pleasant surprise was the provision of a container and dishwashing liquid for washing our dishes. The room opened to a delightful garden are along with a spotlessly clean heated swimming pool. In the garden area there was a number of chairs and tables and also there was a very adequate camp kitchen. Our hosts Debby and John we very attentive. Over all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely being and the River Country Inn again

The bedding linen was of good quality. The room was spacious and the lighting of another time but very pleasant. Likewise, the bathroom was well catered for. The towels were of good quality - enjoyable and the space in the bathroom was just a very good experience. What's more, there is a backdoor, which when you step out leads to the pool and planted area/garden. It was like a small haven, away from the hurly-burly of the road. We sincerely love it. The lady at the reception counter greeted us in a discreet, prompt, and nice manner when we dropped in to collect the key.

Motel is set in lovely gardens with each room facing out onto the garden and with easy access to the Pool. We had room number 12, it was very spacious and very clean. The motel also accommodated our dog. I would highly recommend this motel if you are visiting Echuca, rates are very good and it is close to everything you could need.

Travelling for business it was great to stay somewhere friendly from the moment you walk into reception and then into your room.
The rooms are spacious and quite comfortable to relax after travelling to the area. The motel is well situated with numerous restaurants nearby.

We stay regularly at the River Country Inn when we come to Moama to visit family who live in Echuca. Its not the newest motel complex in town but we love the spacious rooms and the large internal courtyard with its garden, pool and seating, that all the rooms wrap around. This internal space is a lovely quiet area to relax in just outside our back door. With a supermarket across the road and the new bridge across to Echuca close by its very convenient to get to anywhere in Echuca or Moama within minutes.

This would be about our 5th stay here. The rooms are large and bed is comfy. All kitchen amenities are in room,eg" toaster, microwave plates and cutlery. All rooms are ground floor and parking at door. Another door opens out to an amazing garden/pool area with bbq. We had a wonderful swim in pool. Restaurants nearby as is supermarket . We could not imagine staying anywhere else in Moama with Jon and Debby being perfect hosts. As always..we will be back !!

Debby & John were very accommodating to us from our first booking enquiry - willing to allow a last minute change due to a funeral - friendly greeting upon arrival. The room was great, larger than an average room and clean! The motel is situated next to a busy road - but we didn't notice any traffic noise at all. We had a very comfortable stay. We will book again.

Older style impeccably clean motel; has unfortunately been a little inconvenienced by the changes in the roadworks, and the new Murray River crossing bridge; but has been able to continue to operate very well indeed.
Our room was spacious with a little kitchenette area. All the rooms have dual access, from the internal pool garden area, and the car park in front of the room.
Walking distance to the Moama Bowling Club; and a supermarket just opposite.
Ideal base to visit Echuca and the surrounding areas.
Owners are on-site and very helpful.

John, you and your team at River Country Inn are fantastic! After a debacle with DHHS on our way home to Victoria you welcomed Rob and I and our 2 dogs with open arms. The room was great and very clean with cooling, we had a few good nights in the bbq area with COVID safe cleaning equipment in place including all around the premise. The pool was clean and refreshing. The laundry room was free for guests which included a washing machine and dryer and he garden area is just beautiful! The cleaners where so friendly and pleasant and catered to all our needs, please let them know as guests they are so appreciated and they do a top job. The location of the Inn was perfect with a BWS and supermarket across the road. John I cannot thank you enough for the time we spent there. Thank you so much. 5 Star in our eyes.

How nice to find a motel that is genuinely pet-friendly! Pooch was allowed in the room with me and there was no list of prohibitions - just a polite request to keep her on lead outside.
The room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy and the microwave was a welcome surprise.
Premises are laid out around an internal gardened courtyard and rooms open onto that, which is perfect for getting outside after a long day in the car.
I was only there overnight but the pool and outdoor kitchen looked good plus supermarkets are across the road.

Hi Sharon, sorry but we don't allow dogs except assistance dogs. Out of all the motels in Echuca Moama there is only one which allows dogs with some conditions I believe, however there are a couple of holiday homes or cabins which are dog friendly. Suggest you contact the Echuca Visitor Information Centre.
