Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bedding was terrible not even try to put a mattress topper on for a bit of comfort on a very old mattress, even the bed valance was dirty or stained. Our hips ached for days after. The heater was so old not even know if it was turned on only by the noise. Fridge well it froze everything, even the milk was frozen on arrival. No microwave at all, we got a pizza for tea and placed it in fridge for breakfast & it was frozen over night. Not even a lick of paint over very marked walls, we even had hand marks beside the toilet. Others there also said they thought they were staying at Moama Motel not the Border Inn Motel. They obviously don't care!

Stayed here for two nights for work and my first impression was the exposed bricks in the room was a bit old style, however the room was clean, the bed was comfy and the room was spacious! The room is also located within walking distance to all other shops in town and the Murray River for some house boats sightseeing.

Once a year my partner & I go up to the Murray to play golf, we pick a different place each year, we have been to Rich River before & not much is changed, there looks like there may be a fun mini golf, but must be for adults, as I did not see any children there. WATER PRESSURE IN THE SHOWER - was GREAT The band they had playing on Saturday night (Long Weekend) were not good. you would think that on a long weekend you would have done better, but I think it was all about selling drinks to a captive audience. I do have to compliment the manager on the night who was seating people, clearing tables & generally helping all the staff, that's the kind of Manager all venues need.

I stayed one Saturday night. The motel is nothing fancy, but it is clean, very well appointed for a typical Aussie motel with thoughtful touches like cutlery and crockery. You check in at the pub over the road, which is fine. Staff friendly and courteous. Very handy for Echuca - just 1km over the causeway and bridge. Highly recommended.

I stayed here with a friend for two nights. Whilst the staff were friendly, the room was very average. No amenities such as toothpaste, (understand it’s a motel) but room itself was dirty. I had dead spiders hanging above my bed. Location is good for getting around, but not if you actually want to get some sleep. Road traffic, the pub over the road and all the rooms being so close didn’t help. Accessibility was horrible especially if you were on the top floor as the stairs were a very steep incline and quite scary for even us young adults. Plenty of other choices on the main road

We stayed there Friday and Saturday night. The pub across the road was noisy until all hours so goodbye sleep. The room was very basic, the heater was not effective and we were freezing as the blanket on the bed was so thin. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, no hair dryer. The staff at the pub where we booked in were very nice. This motel needs to be updated with some basics. Probably wouldn't stay again unless it was updated.

The motel accommodation was located to the rear of the Moama hotel/bottle shop. Featuring 12 budget rooms. 6up serviced buy a wide wooden staircase and 6 rooms below. If booking on line best to later phone the hotel and check that you are not put up stairs if you are have some incapacity. Room was tired looking and very basic. Beds were comfortable and clean, bathroom was very basic. Enough room for only one person. Toilet had a drip that was constant. Shower had a curtain cover , water was hot. High open windows ventilated the bathroom but was a little cold in there. Furniture was extremely basic. Small fridge , flat screen Tv high up on shelf. Benches were timber, a little sticky. Tea and coffee and milk pods supplied also a kettle. No toaster. If your on a budget this place will suffice. A little cramped if you have large luggage. Motel is on the main road through Moama. Can hear traffic but it's not over bearing.
