The personal service was so helpful, rooms just right and the location was very well positioned in the town centre. Parking was easy and the cafè was perfect for a lazy breakfast. I recommend staying at Quest Maitland.

Had actually booked fr Steamfest and had to cancel due to COVID. I had pre-paid through a booking site, however on contacting the apartments I was offered an extension of my booking for 3 months! Took advantage of the offer and had a very pleasant Friday through Monday in Maitland.

I feel the cost of the room was high compared to Quest Singleton. The money value was not justified compared to the type of room. The Sage cafe closed on certain days meant going out of the hotel to find a cafe for breakfast which was not convenient or ideal

The value of the accommodation does get influenced by the location, so it can be difficult to compare different suburbs and towns. I recently spent two nights in a studio apartment during a work trip. The apartment is reasonably spacious for a studio, featuring a small cooktop and a selection of cooking appliances. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of a variety of amenities, including Aldi, Kmart, restaurants, cafes, a bank, and a cinema. While the accommodation offers a comfortable stay, it does feel somewhat dated, although this is a subjective observation. One downside was that the windows are sealed and cannot be opened to let in fresh air, which I found disappointing. On the positive side, the apartment is well-lit with warm lighting throughout, avoiding the harshness of white lights. The blockout curtains were also effective at blocking out street lights, helping to keep the room reasonably dark for a restful sleep. The apartment includes a safe, drawers, and shelving in the wardrobe, offering more storage than many other similar properties. There is also an ironing board and a clothes airer, but no washing machine. The bar fridge includes a small freezer section, which is enough for ice cubes but not suitable for storing frozen groceries. The shower is relatively spacious and offers excellent water pressure, though the temperature fluctuated slightly between hot and cold during use. The toiletries provided include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a bar of soap, and body lotion. The internet speed was average, with download speeds ranging from 20 to 30 Mbps and slower upload speeds. The property consists of two buildings. On my previous visit, I stayed in the main building, but this time I was in the other building, where I found the corridor and room to have a musty smell, possibly due to the lack of fresh air from the sealed windows. The most significant downside during my stay was the poor sound insulation. From inside my room, I could clearly hear people talking outside, footsteps in the corridor, doors opening and closing, and even bicycles being pushed around. If you are a light sleeper, this may be disruptive and make it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. Parking is plentiful, though this may vary depending on the time of year and occupancy levels. During my stay, the car park was only about a quarter full. Last photos shows a rather unique lift!

The one bedroom wheelchair accessible apartment was a pleasure to stay in. It had a full kitchen and washing machine, king bed with room next to the right hand side of the bed to park a wheelchair. The bed was approximately 22inches high. The large bathroom has a wheel-in shower, fold down shower seat but no grab rails in the shower. The well equipped kitchen is average height and only accessible by parking a wheelchair side facing the cupboards. The unit was very clean and in a great location. The verandah was not wheelchair accessible due to the threshold lip, the outdoor carpark was complimentary. We stayed in Room 2 which was at least 50metres from the carpark to the room (down a corridor past reception), which may be difficult in a manual wheelchair if carrying luggage. There was a door directly across from the room to the carpark but this was locked for security and could not be accessed. It might be possible to request this to be opened on arrival and departure.

The apartment had everything we needed. The great location meant we could walk to cafes and shops. The adjoining rooms were perfect for two couples as we could still spend time together and enjoy our own privacy and space.

Overall, it's a nice place for a short stay. Clean rooms, modern amenities, very quiet and warm, didn't even have to turn the aircon on at night in the middle of winter. It's just a bit lacking, considering the price... Living room couch was quite unappealing all covered in stains. Kitchen utensils are extremely basic and there was only enough salt for one meal. Beds are fine, but I found the pillows to be sort of weirdly shaped. Had a good night sleep nevertheless.

This was our first time staying at a Quest. Everything was as expected and the apartment was clean. The apartment had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was good but moved a lot if we moved, so it was a but like being on a boat if my partner rolled over. We were fine with the stairs leading to the kitchen/lounge but it would be very difficult if you had any mobility issues. The location was the best, close to supermarkets, eat in and take away food and other shops. It was summer when we visited and the air conditioning worked very well. I would stay here again.

The rooms are a great size and have all the amenities we needed to cook our own meals and wash our own clothes instead of relying on dining out and laundry services. Our stay was far more enjoyable and relaxing than it has been in most other hotels. That made it great value for the price.

The Quest apartments were just what was needed for our adult family's accommodation for a wedding. The 2 bedroom apartment was particularly spacious, and we teamed that up with a 1 bedroom apartment. We loved that the kitchen meant we could prepare breakfast & didn't need to eat out.
