There is no where else I would stay in Grafton. The motel rooms are top quality and their attention to detail is unsurpassed. Plenty of power points, separate sink facility for dishes, filling of kettle etc. The shower and bathroom was immaculately clean as was the whole room. Very large flat screen TV.
Having travelled around northern NSW for 8 nights, the Abbey Motor Inn beat all other accommodation hands down. It was value for money, and believe me we paid higher rates in other towns without this type of quality.
Working our way back to Sydney we stayed again at the Abbey Motor Inn, a different room number and again it was faultless. Rated at 4 stars, 5 in my opinion.

We have stayed here before, it’s conveniently located, provides easy check in process. On each stay we have been in a nicely refurbished room having all you need for short stopover. The wifi is good, the room is clean. We moved a bed to get something that fell behind and were pleasantly surprised it was clean without any dust build up you sometimes find. Beds were comfortable, even provided bottled water in the fridge. Thoughtful parking nose into the rooms so as to reduce exhaust smoke going into rooms. Good value.

Great location, right in the middle of town. Very good parking right outside of accommodation. Strange office open hours 8am to 4pm, so if checking in after 4pm, you are sent a message on yr phone to access lock box.
Very clean and quiet.
Definitely book direct with venue, far cheaper than going through booking sites.

Lovely stay. The bed was excellent and the room was quiet. I checked in late with no issues. The shower head was partially broken and I brought this to the attention of the owner

Camped near border waiting for covid test results and the hotel we were staying in had no more rooms...... full stop. After calling a number of hotels in the area without success I rang a mobile number and got a room in this hotel. It was a pleasant surprise, everything was spotless and worked well with keys in lock box all the amenities, all clean, all newly renovated ....everything worked. Very happy with our stay

This motor in ticked all the boxes. Comfortable, well appointed rooms, good TV, windows that can open with security screens, and not overly perfumed. Unfortunately, Grafton had a water outage overnight and we had no water in the morning, so no showers etc. Would definitely stay here again.

The motel looks like it has had a refurbishment recently. The room was very modern, all fittings and fit out new. We expected an old motel and when we opened the door, were very surprised. Even though our room was on the main road, it was not very noisy. I would stay here again

The Customer service and room quality were both excellent :
We had been travelling all day and were just looking for a room. I called about 9pm and arrived about 10.30pm. The manager was very helpful and accommodating. The room is of a very high standard modern furnishing, a comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. I Highly recommend this motel
