In terms of offering a cheap place to stay in a standard motel room, I give this place a 4 out of 5. Obviously there are a lot nicer motels in Dubbo to stay, but for a short overnight stay this definitely offers value. The other motel I was considering was the Formule 1 for $49 where the reviews on Trip Advisor were mixed. For $58 you don't have high expectations and you get a relatively small standard motel room with a fridge and undercover parking virtually outside your room door. Rooms are a bit on the old side and the bathroom has a unique feature of having to walk through the shower to get to the toilet. I have stayed here 3 times (first time I had trouble finding it as it is in a side street) and have will stay again for a short cheap overnight stay.

I find Park Vue Motel a very convient place to stay. It is clean and affordable. The owns are friendly. Breakfasts are wholesome, well presented and hot. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for the night this is the place to stay. The rooms are not big but it is value for money. The beds are comfortalbe and the hot water is hot.

We were on a road trip west and called in to book a room.
We found the rooms comfortable, clean and well presented.
We were impressed with the owners knowledge of the area and where we were headed.
It's a great place to stop and good value for money
I would not hesitate recommending it and I would stay there again if I come back to Dubbo.

We have always believed you always get what you pay for but this was ridiculous. The set up of the room was very small and unusual to say the least, but we said it's only for 2 nights and we had already paid before we saw the room. The first night we had to share tea bags between the 2 of us and thank goodness I don't have sugar as there was not enough for 2 people. 4 tea bags, 4 sugar and 4 coffee. Neither my husband or myself drink coffee. We had a cuppa after we booked in and the rest of the night and in the morning we shared a tea bag between us. We have a cuppa after we get back to a motel after dinner and another later on and one in the morning. When we came back to the motel later the next day we found there was the usual amount of tea bags etc so I went to the office to ask for more and more milk. The woman was quite rude and said it was replenished that morning. I politely explained to her we only drink tea and we need more milk she was not happy. Admittedly she did give us more tea bags and milk but her attitude left me upset. Also the room had not been cleaned and the cups were as we left them on the bench....dirty and the bench had not been cleaned. In the morning I went to put the empty toilet roll in the bin and found it had not been emptied from the people prior to us. How do I know? A modess pad in the bin. I am approaching 60 so it was not mine. DISGUSTED!!!!!

The rooms are on the small size but who stays in the room other than to sleep and then it does not matter. It is all about the quality of the sleep and that is great. The beds are comfortable and there is no traffic from the highway as it is wisper quiet in a side street. You must have breakfast as the variety is good and the serves are large just hatis needed to start your day.
The staff are very friendly and helpful with advice, directions and information,Yes the shower configuration is unique but isnt that why you travel. to experience different things. Get oer it and put a mat down like other motels it is only to the vanity after all.

Though small, the room was adequate with a double bed and three 5 foot console tables lined up on one wall to accommodate storage, a refrigerator and a side-by-side eating place. As with other accommodations, there is an electric kettle, toaster, tea, coffee, and sugar packets. However, the bathroom is a challenge. The sink is in the room and has no counter space for ditty bags. One walks into the shower and through it to the toilet. After showers, your walkway is wet all night. The room is a 3.0, but the bathroom is a 2.0.

We keep returning to this small economical motel. Very friendly operator, nothing is too much bother. Rooms are retro, but comfortable. All you need. Clean bed, clean shower and toilet, air con/heating and tea and coffee making facilities. Parking at front of rooms

Having been a very happy regular here for years this was my last stay.

Booked in for 3 nights buy with all the noise from nearby units on the first night I had to leave after midnight and sleep in my car at a truck stop. No big deal. Things happen but the management response was appalling.

It was rude borderline obnoxious and did all but call me a liar and finnished with “ you’ve let me down Jim” when I cancelled the other nights..

Not good enough Barbara. Appalling behaviour actually

I think if I was in the same position again I'd choose to sleep in my car rather than stay at this motel. The shower and toilet area smelt like sewerage, the sheets on the bed were dirty which I only noticed in the morning, no electric blankets and it gets very cold in Dubbo of a night, and there was a sign on the wall warning you not to leave anything of value in your car which was a bit unnerving as you could not see your car from the room I was in. Would definitely not recommend staying at this motel.
