I have statyed in this Hotel many times as it is located close to where I had to go and visit a factory The room is large and the bathroom is a good size as well just getting a little dated but it would not take much to bring it back to a good standard The food at the Bistro...

This was the perfect motel after a long drive with a toddler. Great pool and fantastic playground - which is next door to the bistro so we could eat while the two-year-old got rid of some excess energy. Dinner was great - husband impressed with the beer, steak and chips deal! Room was clean - plenty of room for a...

Located on the edge of town this motel has a lot to offer as it is close to a major shopping centre and medical centre. It is also part of a hotel with a good bistro. The rooms are large and reasonably appointed although a little dated. Beds are comfortable but the pillows are hard resulting in a poor night...

We were a bit worried about this property being a hit or miss but fortunately it was a hit with us. We stayed over the new year period and couldn't have been more satisfied. The room was nice and spacious- yes, a little old fashioned but it had a nice cabin charm to it. Spacious bathroom with two basins and...

Stayed one night in room 17 in October 2016 enroute to Queensland. Room large and spacious. Bed was a little too soft for us and same for the lounge which was in a bad position for watching television, which also was quite a small size for the room. On a main road but it was surprisingly quiet on the Sunday...

Reception was friendly and helpful. Free Wi Fi with good connection. Rooms are bit outdated but had most everything you need. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Our room was next to the main road so was a bit noisy. If you want a hairdryer you need to get one from reception. Apparently they get stolen. Don't know why they are...

BEWARE! Danger danger!! Think twice before risking it, folks! Motel has no security cameras, I repeat, ZERO security cameras. It is in a little crime hotspot, and all we can get from this establishment is $100 maximum compensation. Careful guys, be warned.

This is a great hotel/motel. We had travelled from Tasmania and had a few rough nights sleep but the Macquarie Inn had the most comfortable bed AND pillows. Large room with huge bathroom and great shower and opening shutters onto a small patio area. It is situated near a roundabout and we had the closest room, but the traffic noise...

We spent 3 nights at the Macquarie Inn Dubbo and the tariff included 'breakfast.' When we ordered eggs we were told they were not included and we would have to pay. The so-called 'Continental' breakfast consisted of stodgy white bread for toast and when we asked for an alternative we were given more stodgy white bread with gritty grain! The...

we stayed last weekend and got broken into along with a few other units, lost about $700 worth of belongings, we were refunded the accommodation costs but I have emailed the manager asking for compensation for our loss and haven't had a reply, the manager didn't even speak to us to apologise when we were there.

Thank you for sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. Our guest’s safety and security is of the highest importance to us. This event of a break in was something we are very concerned with as it is certainly not the norm at The Macquarie Inn. A contractor has now been engaged to replace all locks and identify any further areas of...
