The Orana is an excellent choice when staying in Dubbo. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and pleasantly decorated. The beds are comfortable with power points and USB outlets on both sides of the bed (large hotels take note!), toaster, fridge, kettle, microwave, ironing board, hairdryer all present and in good working order. The bathroom is small but functional with good water pressure. Attached to the motel is an excellent Thai restaurant run by charming people who also do breakfast. Ice, icecreams and breakfast cereal packs can all be obtained from reception.
Overall this is a well run motel that I would not hesitate to recommend and will happily return to.

Very clean and friendly. Highly recommend. Only a short stroll into town. The Team were on hand to deal with anything, not that we needed them. Thai restaurant next door was really good food and service. If you are heading to Dubbo I would certainly try these out.

I have stayed in motels and resorts all over the country and I can say that Orana was the most cleanest and well maintained I have stayed in. The quality of the furnishings and finishings was of a very high standard. Even outside the rooms there was attention to detail such as buckets placed around the carpark to clean your windscreens. The price of accommodation was reasonable, the onsite restaurant was lovely and very convenient. I couldn't fault the place. I will recommend to everyone and anyone I know planning on visiting Dubbo.

The Orana was a great motel with attention to detail that made our overnight stay even better, like a beautiful & comfortable mattress, and fresh new pillows and linen. The decor was modern and everything was very clean. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. We got room service from Ling Thai and the meals were excellent and so tasty… and delivery was super fast. We’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Orana for 2 nights in a room for 4 adults. The room was quite spacious and cosy, the decor was modern and beds were comfy and clean. The room was well-equiped with PowerPoints and charging outlets next to all beds so everyone can charge phones or cameras after a long day out. Having the electric charging facility was extremely helpful and really saved us the hassle to find charging stations elsewhere. This was also the primary reason we chose Orana. Based on the little things you can tell the owners have put a lot of thoughts into the design. The location was convenient with only 10 mins from the zoo and 5 mins from the restaurants.
Because we were given an accessible room there was no shower screen inside the bathroom so it got a little messy after shower time with water everywhere.
If I were to name a few things to improve on, my suggestions would be 1. The carpets can be cleaner (we went barefeet initially and they all ended up black after walking around the room) and 2. Supplying milk for each day of stay instead of just the first day. It was a pretty small bottle to share between 4 people. 3. Attention to details when refilling the tea/coffee station. We had 4 people but only had 3 packets of biscuits.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Orana and will definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Dubbo.

They say they sell sleep and I have never slept better in a hotel ever! Comfy bed and pillows. I chose Orana because it had a locked security gate at night, and as a woman traveling alone security is important to me. It exceeded my expectations in so many other ways, with great little touches in the room like toaster and microwave, and outside with windscreen washer buckets in the car park, which were definitely needed after my 5 hour drive to get there. Great Thai restaurant onsite, which had amazing food. Well done to you Orana, I'll definitely be back for my next business trip.

The inviting pool and well-equipped barbecue area are definite highlights, offering a great space to relax and unwind. Executive Twin Room (King & Single) a decent size, feeling very spacious. Could use a bit more room in the bathroom to get in and out of the shower. Water pressure is good and heats up fast. There are 3 towel racks and 3 towel hooks, plus a shelf to store fresh towels, so lots of towel space, which is great. Bar fridge, kettle and toaster in cupboard (2 doors hanging/shelves/linen/ironing and one door kitchen). Also have 3 sets of cutlery, dishes and glasses. Used dining table for bench space and bathroom sink to wash dishes. Advertised electric blankets in hotel book and specifies which level was high/low - which is amazing and saves you guessing the levels. Unfortunately, 2 out of the 3 blankets did not work and housekeeping missed the request to replace them. Plenty of power points and even USB ports, which is handy. Also the switch for main room lights are by the bed so you don't have to get up at night. Motel in in a good location, not far from main part of town, and nearby lots of dining venues. It's on the busy main road and there is no road noise, which is great. There is a lift for the upper level units. The car park a bit tight for larger cars, but manageable. Loved the windscreen wash buckets located around the car park. The onsite restaurant has reopened. Dined there the first night and was a bit surprised to find out upon being seated it was a Korean restaurant. All the in-room collateral must still have the old restaurant info and advertises it more like a bistro with plenty of choice. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

My room was very spacious, with large windows, so I had natural light during the day.
The room was beautifully and stylishly furnished. Room and ensuite all spotlessly clean.
Near the front door there was a kitchenette, with microwave, toaster and kettle (and tea/coffee). Crocker and cutlery, and cloth hand towels were provided - everything spotless and in excellent condition. The kitchen drawer thoughtfully included sachets of salt and pepper which I really appreciated as I'd bought a salad bowl and needed extra seasoning.
My room was on the first floor, but in addition to the stairs, there was a lift which was convenient.
Reception was friendly and helpful.
A/c, TV and free wifi worked well.
During my stay the hotel's restaurant wasn't open but that was no hardship - there were plenty of restaurants nearby.
While the hotel (sorry, motel) was more expensive than what I'd generally expect to pay for a motel, it really was worth it. I enjoyed my stay in that beautifully furnished and maintained room.

Excellent, modern and extremely clean facilities. We loved our stay here. The little touches like buckets for windscreen washing were great. Added bonus of a lovely Thai restaurant on site was great after a long day of driving. We charged our EV on site, which was another bonus for our stay.
