I wanted a relaxing solo night away. I was looking for a resort style motel but a budget price and I was so happy with my choice.
The room was clean, bed was the most comfortable motel bed I have slept in & the Pillow options where perfect.
The pool area was beautiful, so relaxing and shaded so not too hot.
I didn't use the restaurant but it looked beautiful overlooking the pool area.
I highly recommend

Dubbo International Quality Inn had friendly, knowledgeable staff, the comfiest beds of our 6-week trip, a great pool, the restaurant was excellent and the drinks on offer were outstanding. The room was large and pre-cooled (given the hot weather, this was a blessing!). The shower had great water pressure and heated quickly. Everything was clean, although there were some repairs to the room that were poorly finished. Definitely an above-average stay.

Accommodation was booked by our employer. From the outside the motel looked a bit tired but the room inside had been given a bit of a makeover. The bed was incredibly comfortable and also triple sheeted which is really important during covid. I don’t like those motels with the old dusty bedspreads that never get laundered.
This was a big plus for me as I work in the accommodation industry. I whipped over the room with antibacterial wipes for my own peace of mind and again.. surprised as there was not a speck of dirt or dust to be found. Their housekeeping team is doing a great job. Huge flatscreen tv on the wall. Shower pumped out a lot of hot water, no mingy water saver shower heads here. What surprised the heck out of us was the little motel restaurant... we were advised to book upon check in and thankfully we did. Booked out fast! Unexpected fine dining with superb 5 star food and all other patrons were in very glamourous attire...I’m talking sequins, high heels, collared shirts and beautiful dresses. Unsure if they were locals or roadtrippers who bring glam attire with them? We were in jeans and it was quite dark with tea lights on the tables but I felt a little under dressed, so throw in a nice top or collared shirt if you plan to dine in. Some of the feedback people have left for this motel is hyper critical and some people just love to complain.
This country motel is doing a great job, staff were lovely and attentive and I’d happily stay here next time we are in the area. Also a Covid safe venue as they had QR code’s, sanitiser, signage, dining tables spaced apart and fully sanitised after each group left and spotless accommodation.

Should have taken the hint when the receptionist refused to show me the room. As I was tired from a long drive took the Superior King Room, which I now regret. On walking up several flights of steps to room which were slippery due to rain, we felt like we were in a cheap third world country Hotel. On entering room that impression remained.
The room had a bathroom that had been renovated but was looking very shabby. Crooked toilet seat, poor lighting and ventilation.
The main room was definitely in urgent need of renovation, very dated, there were numerous dodgy patchups in room.
The bed was uneven making you feel like you couldn't lie straight without rolling. The carpet was very old and the old curtains were in urgent need of a thorough clean.
We also found dead bugs in draw in cabinet. Toaster was provided but no cutlery, knives and plates making toaster useless. Disposable cups for making tea and coffee? What a joke
Internet was very slow and kept dropping out.
Would I recommend this Hotel? Absolutely not.

My husband(71) and I(68) stayed on New Years Eve. after finding a price on the internet, several days prior to Arriving,I rang the motel and asked if they could match it, explaining I wanted to support a small business rather than have them charged a booking fee. after discussion with the friendly receptionist, I chose a renovated room which was more expensive than one that was non renovated. on arrival, it became apparent we were not given the room we selected. the bathroom was modern and clean, however the rest of the unit was very dated and well in need of a facelift. I spoke to the receptionist and let her know that we were not in the room we booked. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to staying in a quality room. I felt I had been conned by the motel.
Later, on removing the doona, it became obvious the bed had not been made from the previous guests. the sheets were a dishevelled mess. the receptionist had a staff member make the bed. I asked the receptionist if she could could please ask the manager to phone me and checked the motel had my correct phone number. She agreed to do so. I am at a loss to understand why I have heard nothing since checking out 4 days ago. A courtesy call would have been greatly appreciated.
Surely, a business that cared about customer satisfaction would see the sense in phoning me, And offering an apology . I feel as if the motel took our money but were not really interested in the quality of service delivered. based on these experiences, I would not recommend this motel, given there are many other accomodation options in Dubbo.

Rooms are nice and clean with all expected amenities. We stayed in room 127 ( I think) and whilst knowing the location of the motel, the rooms could do with some sort of noise minimisation. The window was also draughty

Overall the stay was good but not excellent

Response from General Manager, Owner at Quality Inn Dubbo International
Responded 7 Aug 2020
Hi Blair, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay. Like most motels, we are located on a highway, and this can present a challenge when it comes to road noise, especially for an older building. We find our guest experience in our rooms set closest to the highway varies greatly, with some finding them noisy, and others having no issue in this regard. That said, we have taken measures to reduce road noise where possible, such as the noise dampening foam in the door frames, but our best advice - especially if you are a light sleeper - is to book the room types set farther from the road. Our staff are of course always happy to assist you to make the best choice for your accommodation needs, so please always feel free to get in touch ahead of making your booking. Our maintenance has since repaired the gap in the window frame, so thank you for bringing this to our attention. Kind regards, Management

Stayed here after a very exhausting day dodging floods during a house move. It was a last minute booking and given it was the holiday peak period we were relieved to get in. The Reception staff were exceptionally friendly. There were no dishes in the room to make food, but I think that is due to COVID restrictions as it has been a common theme amongst the different hotels we stayed in during our move. The bed was firm, so we slept well, and even though our room was closer to the main road, it was a lot quieter than I expected during the night. Air con worked perfectly. Best of all was the food. Room service delivered our steaks, cooked to perfection (medium rare), probably the best steak in a long time. . A 500g TBone and a 350g sirloin. Restaurant prices, and restaurant quality as far as we were concerned, we would be happy to purchase again. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The veggies were cooked perfectly (good veg should have a slight crunch) and marinated. Our Congratulations to the Chef. Too tired to look at the rest of the amenities.

We stayed here after we made last minute plan.

Staff was excellent especially Mel and Karen.

Room was average. Air con unit was loud and noisy, did the job but!

Water pressure was excellent.

No Service of the room daily which apparently changed due to covid. Not good idea because there is no bin outside for guest to put out their own rubbish as you can imagine travelling with kids and the rubbish you’d collect each day.

Restaurant meal was average and pricey. You could tell that meats served in restaurant are not economy, just cheap meat from super market. No good match - the service and restaurant standard and the staff not to forget is very classy but food is no quality.

Having recently stayed at 15 motels across Vic, ACT, & NSW, this was easily the worst. The staff incorrectly advised us they had no map of Dubbo. On arrival they also took the full charge for our 2 night stay out of the wrong credit card despite being specifically assured that the one handed over on checking in would be the one used.
Worst was to come. Night one saw the bathroom floor covered in water because the old style flimsy shower curtain stopped 30cms above the shower base. The top front room near the Newell Hwy was also very noisy. Next day all that we had put in the fridge (wine, water, etc) was frozen solid. The internet was pretty ineffective and frequently dropped out. Then on the morning of check-out, Cold shower! That is simply unacceptable from any motel, let alone one calling itself “quality.” On reporting this to the staff, there was an uncaring half-hearted apology. No offer to check or to compensate us in any way. The pool was unavailable (on a 35 degree day) apparently undergoing some rectification, and the restaurant was not open - it was principally Mon/Tues. In all, a very unacceptable stay with the only plus being the motel’s proximity to Dubbo Golf Course, Western Plains Zoo, and Club Dubbo.

Check in was faultless and the direction to our rooms were spot on, The overall reaction to the room from the whole family was wow.

The king bed was true to size and the separate bedroom had 2 single beds for the kids with its own television.

The bathroom is great in size with a full shower head and a separate toilet that's a plus not having to share the same space. Only down side to the shower is it takes ages for the shower to warm up but otherwise great.

Tea, Coffee and milk supplied with some Arnotts biscuits. Fridge, microwave and toaster on hand to use aswell.

Nice thick pillows but soft and the mattress is plush not hard and firm j7st right.
