Great park, clean toilet block and showers best we've seen. Brand new and very roomy showers. Close to town and shopping centre, will definitely be back. Central to all tourist spots and activities also.

Property's Favourite Review
Broken Hill Tourist Park is an excellent, convenient and affordable place to stay when holidaying in Broken Hill. As a family of four, we booked a ‘Superior Cabin’ (1 x Queen bed and 2 x single beds) for a three-night stay. There are no boomgates to access the site, staff are very friendly and when checking in, they will give you keys and a copy of the map so you can find your way around the park quite easily and offer free Wi-Fi (password provided), the Wi-Fi was a pretty good connection, considering our stay was during the school holidays and inundated with lots of tourists. The cabin was clean, spacious and reasonably quiet at night, once the traffic settles down later at night. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and a small popper of milk is provided plus soap and shower gel. This tourist park is indeed close to town, shopping centres and the Information Centre, which took me 40 minutes to walk there, or simply a 5-minute drive. Also, close to the main attractions, it takes you about 5 to 10 minutes-drive to visit White’s Mineral Art and Mining Museum; partake in the Broken Hill Heritage Walk Tour; Line of Lode Memorial; Silver City Mint and Art Centre and many more nearby attractions. Or 30 to 40-minute drive to other places we have visited, such as the Historic Daydream Mine; Mad Max 2 Museum; Mundi Mundi Plains; The Living Desert and Sculpture Symposium. To our surprise, we were situated next to the Broken Hill Cemetery Walk, one of the attractions we wanted to do and did. We took the opportunity to do our laundry there, 4 x washing machines and 2 x driers, each take 6 x $1 coins, which I didn’t have but reception was only too happy to oblige, where I exchanged my notes for $1 coins. I highly recommend Broken Hill Tourist Park, purely for the convenience and close proximity to attractions and to town and the comforts of the cabin, my favourite part of the cabin was the little outdoor area, decked out with table and chairs, where I just chilled outside with my cold beer and watching passer-bys.

G'day Bald Critic, Thanks for the awesome review and feedback about your stay with us! It's fantastic to see you and your family enjoyed staying at our park and your time in our Superior Cabin. There are plenty of attractions and sites to explore in and around Broken Hill, it's great that you found our park to be a convenient location to explore the region and found time to watch the world pass-by as you drank your cold beer. Enjoy the rest of your travels. Cheers, Aileen, Dave and the team at Broken Hill Tourist Park.
