Room was on the large size which is good for a longer than overnight stay, very clean and the air-conditioner worked really good, which is a plus in the NSW Western parts of the state.
So the room ticked all boxes with Value for Money, Location and Clean.

Lady at Check in was lovely but felt a bit rushed, it was here is your key, restaurant up top, park wherever, see you later. I had to ask about where our room actually was and how parking worked.
The parking is marked with dots instead of lines and is so hard to see at night and figure out if you have parked in the right space.
The room was small and VERY dated, the bathroom even tinier.
Now this may be first world problems but there was only one power point in the whole room. With 3 of us needing to charge phones and radios it was a little tricky.
The beds were terrible, one bed was as hard as a brick, my bed was so crappy it had no support & kept trying to roll me onto the floor all night, I was tempted to go ask for a new room.
I was surprised that this was the first place that had an actual mini bar, and prices were surprisingly cheap for a mini bar.
Bathroom was extremely dated and cramped, water pressure was ok but I had the shower on hot only to get it warm enough.
They do have a laundry available (1 x washer & dryer) which may have been the saving grace so we were able to get a load of washing done but there is no signage anywhere so you have to go looking for it.
There is a Chinese restaurant onsite and pubs a short walk away but we didn't try either of those so couldnt tell you if they were worth trying.
I think with other options available for accommodation I would try elsewhere before ever coming back here.
Both ladies at reception were pleasant but the Sunday night one told us Coles Supermarket was 'three blocks away'. We started to walk but it was far more than that.
The room key had a tendency to stick.
The motel has recently been repainted, including in its rooms and is clean.
However, the double bed was showing its age. I prefer Queen size. There was a top sheet that was a plus.
Aircon was reasonably quiet, but at night there was a hum from maybe a water heater.
Toiletries were small while a hairdryer was inside the bathroom cabinet.
Towels were standard white but we had to ask for hand towels from the capable, nice Aboriginal lady room attendant.
The in house Chinese restaurant was good but decir was from the 1970s.
The shower worked well but the bathroom was incredibly poky.
WiFi was slow.
No breakfast is presently offered. This is more COVID-19 paranoia. What does the owner think will happen?
Overall, this was a very average motel.
The motel was clean and comfortable, we arrived at midnight and every thing was ready to go for us.
Helpful stuff, good location and easy access to the main street.
Walking distance to a number of things which is handy. Car parking a little disappointing as it normally fills up by mid afternoon.
The cottages are the way to go, very comfortable with separate bedrooms and a nice area to relax watching TV after a big day.
Multiple places to eat and charge back to your room so you are not stuck with 1 restaurant.
If your coming in by train, it is nearly straight across from the station, nothing to walk to, and very close to the city center
"Try and make sure you have your car (if you have one) in the car park by mid afternoon as parking parks can often be filled quickly."Read full review
