This is a nicely renovated motel right in the heart of Broken Hill walking distance to everything. I had room 15 and would recommend. It has nice decor and great quality linen and towels. Nice to have fresh milk in fridge. The bed was ok but he winner really was the shower. wow! could stand in that for hours. I was also impressed by Lyndsay's friendliness and professional and relaxed approach running a busy place. she offered me a map and recommended places where you can charge back a meal to the room. This is a great place to stay.
Located 100 mtrs from the centre of town...on the main street but VERY quiet. The staff were super friendly and very helpful and even offered to book dinners for us. The rooms were clean fresh and very comfortable. Our friends opted for duz. King beds but we were more than happy with the single room king bed room. We staged 3 nights and just loved the motel and the area
Stayed for 2 nights at Red Earth and would be first choice if back in Broken Hill. Friendly check in with local information/map offered without having to ask. Sparkling clean and comfortable the room had separated kitchenette/lounge and bedroom areas making it a perfect choice for more than just an overnight stay. Walking distance to the CBD and the Chinese Restaurant literally across the road made for an easy takeaway for tea.
Located on the main road at the eastern edge of Broken Hill, but the rooms are set back from the road so it was very quiet. The motel does not offer breakfast or dinner but it is only a 5-10 minute walk to several good options. The room was basic but very clean. Wifi worked well. We'd stay here again.
Friendly reception. Very large suite. Very clean. Kitchenette is good value with large refrigerator. Bed very comfortable. One television in living area and one in bed area an added bonus. Good sized bathroom. Only detraction was small parking space against hedge made it impossible to access one side of car. Most parking spaces though were adequate.
Excellent comfortable clean awesome motel The check in was easy. The room amazing, quiet, comfortable, really clean. Lovely kitchenette with all cooking facilities. Lovely bathroom with all toiletries given. Do not drive past this place
We had an excellent stay at this fabulous Motel. It was spotlessly clean, very comfy beds and the facilities in the rooms were second to none. Michael and Michelle Baldwin the owners were on hand to advise and greet and help in any way. Nothing was too difficult for them or their friendly staff. Five star rating isnt enough!!!
We really enjoyed our night at this excellent motel. Booking and communication where very easy, room was scrupulously clean and really well appointed, quality fittings and furniture. Comfy beds and very quiet considering the proximity to the highway. The pool is heated and crystal clear and was a perfect way to unwind after a long drive.
I've been to Broken Hill around 10 times and somehow missed this place. I guess it was always booked out, which wouldn't surprise! This is such an awesome motel. I had a king studio room. Very nicely decorated, comfortable bed and spacious. The sliding door enters into a kitchen/dining/living space. Then a separate space for the bed (and a second tv!). There is a huge walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. The staff were lovely and friendly. Great location, right at the Sydney end of the main street, so you can walk everywhere. Will definitely think ahead next time, so I can secure a room here again. There really is nothing to fault. But I can make one suggestion that would make it even more amazing - a rain shower. There's plenty of water pressure, though perhaps they're not allowed in BH because of water restrictions. Cannot recommend this place more!…
I stayed here for two nights for work for my first trip to Broken Hill (first of many to come). I arrived after reception hours, but the process was easy. The room was great size, with a small sofa and dining table, decent size fridge and a microwave, with dishes and even storage containers so you dont have to eat pub food and takeaway all the time while away from home for work. The bed was really comfortable, I slept amazingly. Easy walk to a few pubs and coffee. I'll be asking our corporate travel planner to put me here as often as I can. My only gripe would be $6 to wash and $6 to dry in the laundry room, and I think the sign says no washing after 630 (I wasn't even back from the office by then). Other towns I travel to have free laundry rooms, with a more reasonable 830/900pm cut off.…
