Hotel's Favourite
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at The Red Earth Motel in a Studio Apartment with King Bed . The bedroom is completely seperate from the lounge room and kitchenette which was great when i wanted to go to bed earlier and my husband still wanted to watch tv. The room was lovely and clean and decorated to a high standard. There was even a walk in robe which was great to put the suitcases out of the way as well. Check in was quick and easy and staff lively and friendly. It was an easy flat walk to the centre of town where we ate each night. Great selection of restaurants cafes and pubs all with walking distance from the motel. Free parking right outside your door. Although we didn't have time to use it there was a lovely pool also. If in Broken Hill i can highly recommend staying here. If in the area i would definitely choose here again

We spent 5 nights at the Red Earth Motel in October & it was good to have the extra level of comfort & space offered in the apartment style accommodation. In those 5 nights the bed linen was never changed or the floor vacuumed. Towels were changed after 4 nights.
The kitchenette had a full size fridge, microwave oven & sink. Parking was outside the apartment entry. Beyond was a well used swimming pool & BBQ area. The coin laundry was a welcome addition for travellers. All new & modern, located only a short walk to the town centre.

I stayed here for two nights for work for my first trip to Broken Hill (first of many to come). I arrived after reception hours, but the process was easy.
The room was great size, with a small sofa and dining table, decent size fridge and a microwave, with dishes and even storage containers so you dont have to eat pub food and takeaway all the time while away from home for work.
The bed was really comfortable, I slept amazingly.
Easy walk to a few pubs and coffee.
I'll be asking our corporate travel planner to put me here as often as I can.
My only gripe would be $6 to wash and $6 to dry in the laundry room, and I think the sign says no washing after 630 (I wasn't even back from the office by then). Other towns I travel to have free laundry rooms, with a more reasonable 830/900pm cut off.

We stayed for 2 nights recently and were very happy with our choice. The room is big compared to some others. Sitting room on entering, full sized refrigerator, sink and microwave. The bedroom with King bed is separated by a wall and a very generous walk in robe with a modern ensuite off from it.
The best touch this motel has is a laundry basket in your room and airers available from the on site laundry. Oh and in the ensuite is a dark coloured face cloth embroided with "Make up removal" . You won't be disappointed staying here.

We did a lot of research before booking this hotel about a month prior to our stay. We were on a road trip to Sydney, Dubbo and Broken Hill. We particularly wanted a room with a bath as it is an eight hour drive from Dubbo and we wanted to relax in a hot bath when we arrived. We booked a two bedroom apartment even though there was only two of us so we could have a bath. The website clearly states that the two bedroom apartments have a bath. Our two bedroom apartment did not. When I approached the lady working on reception she said that none of the two bedroom appartments had a bath and sorry, there was nothing she could do about it. We then contacted the owners via a “Welcome, hope you enjoy your stay” email sent to us. We replied saying how disappointed we were that our apartment did not have a bath as stated on their website. They replied “Thanks for bringing that to our attention and we will offer you a discount on check out”. We were given a discount but the problem I have is that the website is misleading. Also mentioned on the web site as a feature were walk in wardrobes. The wardrobe was a standard sliding door version. Also advertised was Foxtel but we could not find this on the TV. Minor I know but still misleading. One other thing to note is that the rooms are not serviced daily due to Covid. (This doesn’t seem to be a problem for other motels we stayed in) We were informed of this by a note in the room after we checked in. Accomodation is at a premium in BH especially at the moment owing to the cast and crew of the new Mad Max movie being filmed just outside of Silverton, but I really think the Red Earth Motel should update their website to reflect what really is on offer.

Red Earth was the perfect place for us to sy in Broken Hill. Clean spacious studio that remained cool on even the warmest days, and it certainly was warm. The pool with over head shade cloth was perfect when returning from a morning outing and needing a refreshing dip.
There is an on-site laundry for guests and when the drier was being problematic the staff not only took our washing and dried it in their dryer but returned it neatly folded. Above and beyond. Thank you

This is a relatively small motel, and is well run with helpful staff.
The room was fresh, comfortable and clean.
The rooms are relatively large with seperate sleeping and living areas. The kitchenette (microwave for cooking) is well equiped,
The motel is located on the main street with easy access to the centre of town. While it is on the main street, it is quiet at night.
Recommended.

Located on the main road at the eastern edge of Broken Hill, but the rooms are set back from the road so it was very quiet.
The motel does not offer breakfast or dinner but it is only a 5-10 minute walk to several good options.
The room was basic but very clean. Wifi worked well.
We'd stay here again.

With 3 king double beds in 3 generously-sized (and well furnished) bedrooms, our 6 person family was very well catered for. Of our 9-day roadtrip, this was the best catered/ sized room and we'll definitely be returning if/ when we next visit Broken Hill. Staff we also delightful.

Booked 2 nights acc for a deluxe studio with 2 single beds at a costing of $176/night. The motel is located on the eastern end of town, with easy walking distance to cafes & the art gallery.
A wonderful friendly professional welcome. We were allocated room 21. Car parking spaces are numbered with parking right near the door.
This is a really comfortable motel. The layout of the rooms is excellent. A living /dining area with kitchenette comprising Induction stove stop, microwave & full fridge. Cutlery crockery too.
The beds are really comfortable. The ensuite is roomy with a walk in shower with great hot water. An openable window. Nice quality toilettries in pump action bottles.
The air con works really well & is whisper quiet. The fridge is too.
There is no noise from the road traffic & we slept well.
We had trouble connecting with the hotel's internet & both members of staff tried so hard to fix the problem. They ultimately did & we greatly appreciate their persistence.
The rooms are serviced daily, which we appreciated.
There is a guest laundry available for $6/load, with laundry detergent provided. They also provide air racks if you prefer, instead of using the dryer. The equipment was very clean.
We had a wonderful stay here, as we did last time, & fully recommend Red Earth
