Broken Hill was fully booked and we were fortunate to be moved to Charles Rasp through her sister hotel when we stayed on an extra day. What a find. Rooms are clean spacious and well kitted out. The showers are fabulous. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Charles Rasp.

The Charles Rasp is in a good location & easy walking distance of the main street of Broken Hill. The family suite has two bedrooms & is clean, spacious & comfortable. We stayed 3 nights which was long enough to explore BH & surrounding areas. Would recommend.

We stayed two nights here in one of their family rooms while we explored the Broken Hill area. Very central to everything with fast food nearby. We took advantage of the table and chairs out near the pool area to have our early dinners in the setting sun light. The room was spacious for our family and was well heated. Plenty of hot water and able to park right outside our room, which was convenient for unpacking and loading our car.

Greeted by a lovely lady who offered some milk for our room and was very helpful in showing us where we could park our camper trailer for the night where it would be safely off the road. Room was immaculate, beds were super comfy with hotel quality linen and pillows. We had the family room which had a queen and single bed in main area, with a separate bedroom with 2 more singles, own TV and aircon/heater. Bathroom looked like it had been newly renovated, very hot shower with great water pressure. To be honest this was the nicest motel overall we have ever stayed in. Highly reccomend.

We stayed here (pre-booked) for3 nights in the Avoca Cottage. This is an old miner’s cottage and, from the internet, we thought it would be a nice place from which to explore Broken Hill. Unfortunately, the cottage was not well maintained, was in poor condition and quite a disappointment. To detail all the issues here would take longer than I am prepared to spend typing one finger on my iPad. We do not recommend this cottage and were glad to leave at the end of our stay.

This is the second time I have stayed here The A/C work really well. The rooms are tastefully renovated and styled. Rooms are good for a couple. Didn’tstay in family room so can’t comment. Nice grasses area around pool. They do breakfast, and you can charge back some other restaurants to hotel.pub right next door. Biggest fault is very noisy in morning when peo0le leave and walls are thin.

We only stayed one night as an add on at the end of our trip. Great, friendly service and very helpful. The room was excellent very clean with a very modern ensuite. The room was quieter than I had anticipated and was great value for money. Will definitely stay there again when we visit.

We stayed in the family room which was good comfy beds and plenty of hot water. The only downfalls of the room were the shower was only a half screen was there was water everywhere lucky there were plenty of towels and I also couldn't find the toaster it had fridge, microwave and kettle but no toaster.

We stayed at the Charles Rasp Motor Inn for 3 nights in an executive Family Room. The room was excellent. There were two bedrooms - perfect for our teenage son to have his own space. We had room No. 14. The was plenty of space. The room was immaculately clean. The bathroom was huge with a shower and separate bath. The bed had a pillowtop mattress that was divine and the water pressure was amazing! There are plenty of food options across the road - KFC, Dominoes and a chicken shop and a pub next door - but sadly it doesn't have meals. I would highly recommend this motel. Sandra at the front desk was very helpful and obliging.

The room was fairly new and tucked down the back. We had a 2 bedroom and it was very clean and modern. The pool is fantastic and the only drawback is that it has no shade meaning the hottest part of the day it is not usable unless you want to be fried. This motel is very close to a number of food outlets with the best being Raganovich Chicken shop and a decent pub ‘The Royal’ a few doors up.
