We were so lucky, we had not booked and there just happened to be a cancellation. We stayed there last year, it is so convenient to the Panthers club. We got a king room which had a lovely comfortable be. Also large shower head which was great. Gentlemen was so helpful when we booked in. The rest of the motel was full of variety bash cars, what a sight.
Had a night here in room with queen and single ,yes bathroom is dated but clean and good shower. Nice bed and very clean room with all facilities you would need. Great location next to Panthers and 100 mt from oxford pub. Recommend it great value form money
This motel is not 4 star and barely rates as a 3 star. Trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. The shower door rubs on the floor, no soap in the shower container and no hand towel. The shower head is one of those square monstrosities that's immovable. We have stayed in 4 motels before this with no problems, for about the same price and this is a new LOW. The drawers are sub standard. The only saving grace is the bed. It, at least is comfortable and one night is sufficient.
Oliver and his team were very welcoming and friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. Room was clean, tidy and had all the basic essentials. Relatively quiet location. Hotel is extremely well located, minutes walk to CBD, parks and cafes. Highly recommended accomodation in Bathurst.
Stayed here for one night on our road trip. All rooms are on the ground floor with parking right in front of the unit. Situated at the top end of town made it very quiet The room had a queen bed and a single bed light above the queen bed made for easy reading at night. No complaints with the bed had a great nights sleep.Bathroom had a large rose shower and a glass screen door with complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Tea/coffee and fresh milk provided. It is nearly next door to the Panthers club for Dinner or the Hotel is only 70 meters down the road. We certainly recommend this place to others wanting a quiet stay in Bathurst
We were upgraded to King bed, room at no extra cost. Room was clean and even though the Motel is not new, it appears that the owners are maintaining and even upgrading facilities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Motel. Also thumbs up to Oliver, for the service, well done. We will book in, next time we visit family in Bathurst.
We were in the Bathurst district for a wedding recently. During that time we needed a room in town for only 1 night. We found the Country Lodge to be very convenient, close to our function, up to its 3 star rating as advertised with friendly staff. We found it good value for money and would recommend it foy the type of trip we were on.
We were dining in bathurst and decided to stay in town rather than drive home, when i rang to request a downstairs room, the receptionist advised that was no problem, the motel may have been built in the 80's but the owners/managers have done a lot of work recently, the king bed was so comfy, the air con perfect and the shower one of the best we have come across , we ordered breakfast and it was just right although couldn't eat it all, I think the lady we dealt with was kristy/Kirsty she was so nice and the motel was great, outside and in was so clean, and so close to town without the traffic noise, will defiantly stay again
Went to Bathurst for birthday dinner we had already decided we would be staying overnight & booked this motel for the night. Rooms were very nice and clean good size, good king bed check in was easy owner friendly and helpful. Had a great stay and would recommend this motel if in bathurst close to CBD has all you expect from a motel.
Have stayed there before and so we made another booking. As I am disabled when the booking was made spoke to a lovely about my needs. He said to look at some rooms to see what would be suitable upon arrival. When we got there we checked in and we explained our phone conversation. This person named Chis immediately became defensive and said we had to take the room assigned to us. Wr tried to explain things and he became very rude. I tried to get into the room but couldn't as the step was too high for me.. We noticed another room with a lower step and when we approached Chris about this said he it was already book and wouldn't change it. He was so rude and discriminated against the disabled. We demanded our money back and webt some where else which turned out much better.
