Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This park is right on the East side of Bathurst, so a drive to shopping is necessary.

There are many attractions in the nearby areas that will cater for almost everybody.

Sites are nice & spacious & TV reception excellent. Staff are very friendly & were accomodating in letting us select our site.

Facilities are very clean & the mini golf on site is a good fun activity.

Views of Bathurst & the sunset from the top of the hill are fabulous!

The only disappointment with this park was poor hot water in the mens amenities. Of all the showers I had there, only 1 was hot. All the others can be described as below luke warm. At the end of our stay they opened up some of the ensuite sites for use & locked all but 2 of the showers in the mens amenities.

As this is something of importance to travellers, I could only give a rating of average instead of very good.

Park was nice, staff very friendly and cabin was ok although could do with a little bit of work to fix not working doors and mould. Recreation room was disappointing, and what was in there required a bond to use. Mini golf also $8 an adult and $4 for kids, should be free, seemed like an easy cash grab more than anything else. Pool was nice though and had a good slide.
Also don’t like the note in rooms telling people to place their rubbish in the bin and leave the cabin as we found it. We always leave it neat and tidy but being told to do it made me actually not want to, we are on holidays and part of the fee surely goes to taking the bin out for us.

Great staff and facilities but the roads are way too narrow and you will need a lot of patience and time to squeeze the bigger vans onsite, way too cramped. Ammenities are perfectly clean and fairly spacious, but they are the coldest wind swept ammenity blocks I have ever used. Hot water is at the bottom end of the temperature settings and is difficult to say it is hot water, definately no cold water was needed to shower. We like this park to stay at but unless some changes are made we will bypass it in future and stay else where which is a shame.

Hi, Thank you for sending us a message. We have sent this feedback to our team to see what the issue is with the hot water in the amenities block. It's great to see that you enjoyed the rest of your holidays and we hope that we can welcome you back in the near future.

Cabin was modern, clean and tidy with everything we needed except for hand soap in the bathroom.
The holiday park is on a slope so the kids couldn’t really ride their bikes like they have done at other holiday parks.
The kids park and jumping pillow were great. Pool looked really nice but we couldn’t use it as it was not heated even though they advertise that it is heated.
The only other activity available was mini golf but we didn’t try it due to the cost.
We stayed in a pet free cabin but had a camp site next to us which had 2 dogs that barked Non stop for hours and started up again at 6am, we complained to park manager but was told they couldn’t do anything as it’s a pet friendly park! I was not happy with that response as the park rules say you cannot leave dogs unattended and they are not allowed to be a nuisance.
Lesson learned, won’t be coming back!

Hi Lisa, Thank you for your review on our park. We are sadden to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. Due to COVID-19 we have had to close some of our facilities including the games room and also with restriction we are unable to run our holiday program . We try our best to accommodate all of our guest including guest with pets. We have looked over our website for the mention of the pool heated. We have noted this to our marketing team to try and resolve this issue and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We hope to see you in the future.

Lovely clean park. Great location away from the main part of town, and considering it's on the highway- very quiet. Stayed in a small 1 br cabin which was spotless, with a very comfy bed. If you need wifi, take your own as coverage under the park's wifi was very patchy and limited daily. Not acceptable in 2023. Lots of things to see and do in Bathurst- would highly recommend Ben Chifley's house

Stayed one night in a 'fossicker' cabin. These are at the top of a hill at the back of the caravan park. Large, new, clean, comfortable and well appointed. These cabins are packed pretty close together, but didn't feel crowded. There was a view of sorts over the park and area, but caravan parks aren't places you go for scenic views.
Park is located close to the main highway a few km out of town on the Sydney road, but far enough away so that traffic noise isn't an issue.

We have just returned from our third stay at Panorama Holiday Park, and as usual, our stay was fantastic. The cabins and all facilities are always immaculate and very spacious for a family of four including two teenagers.
There is an awesome variety of things to do at the park, putt-putt golf, jumping pillow, bike riding, play area for little kids, games room and the beautiful pool complete with waterslide.
The staff here are always helpful and friendly and nothing is too much bother for them (big shout-out to lovely Baeden).
I would (and do) recomend Panorama Holiday Park to anyone visiting beautiful Bathurst 😊

We stayed 2 nights in a cabin, we did inform when booking that we needed somewhere to park 4wd & car trailer which was no problem.
Friendly staff, cabin was clean & comfortable, the free Wifi was not that great.
We didn't have time to check out the part facilities so cant comment on them.

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin for two nights whilst our daughter son in law and granddaughters camped.
The cabin was compact and clean..plenty of towels but the bunk bed mattresses were vinyl covered and quite hard.
The park itself was very disappointing..they advertise a giant jumping outdoor pillow for the kids..well that was non existent..the kids playground very underwhelming and the sandpit was really dirty..we wouldn’t let the girls play in it..
The recreation room was awful and very very dirty and unkept.
We thought we’d give the putt putt a go but they wanted to charge us $8 per adult and $4 a child..ridiculous it just wasn’t worth it..not a great experience for us..so glad we only stayed two nights..

Dear Jacaranda, thank you for taking time to give us this feedback even though your experience was not as you expected. We value what you have mentioned as it allows us to improve and provide the stay we strive for. Please note we have not had a Jumping Pillow for over 18 months and is not advertised that we do have one. As per our rec room we have staff through out the day spot cleaning this however as this is not manned 24/7 it is all left to guest to be respectful and clean up after themselves which sometimes not the case. If you would like to discuss this further please email us at bathurst@nrmaparksandresorts.com.au Regards Keiran Bathurst NRMA Holiday Park Manager
