Only niggle was the bar fridge which was noisy and reported it the next morning. They allowed us to lock our bikes in the bottleshop over night which was... More

11 of my friends and I took a motorcycle trip out to Bathurst from Sydney last thursday. We spent some time riding around Mt Panorama and had organised to stay the night at The Knickerbocker Hotel. The hotel provides a mix of different room layouts. I stayed in a single room with a comfortable double bed. Others stayed in shared... More

Friendly, clean and a good breakfast included in the price. We stayed just before the Bathurst car races and the excitement was catching with the hotel in the middle of town with lots going on. Looks like the rooms have been recently refurbished. Worth a stay.

This was my second overnight experience of Bathurst and both times I stayed at the cute, Art Deco style, Knickerbocker. As an elderly person, slightly impaired in walking and without a car, the Knickerbocker is ideal for my needs, in the centre of town, right opposite the beautiful Machattie Park and handy to everything. The building underwent extensive renovation a... More

We went their on a Saturday night to see some Kick-A rock band perform. It's great to see such energising music in this historic hotel. The room was crowded with a healthy mix up locals, uni-students and a few tourist. Pity there wasn't a stage for them to perform on. Therefore they were the same level as they many punters... More

My two bobs worth the best thing anyone could do is to read all of the excellent reviews & ignore the only two poor & terrible reviews. Because after staying there with eleven other mates on a weekend bike tour coming over from Newcastle & touring around the great country roads in that area (towns like Kandos, Hill End, Wattle... Motorcycle friendly, Mark was excellent in organising a safe place for our bike. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The food was excellent and definitely value for money, breakfast was amazing and was included in the accommodation price. We would highly recommend the Knickerbocker Hotel for overnight or for longer, as said- excellent value for money, is central... More

If you are looking for a convenient location this is the place for you. The rooms are clean and neat. The breakfast is hearty and cooked to order. The staff are helpful and friendly. If you are after fluffy bath sheets, designer amenities or a Buffett breakfast then this hotel is not for you. I enjoyed our stay here.
