An excellent place that your kids will love. Elaine and Ken were such great hosts and brilliant with the kids. A very authentic and hands on experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our fee days there. Basic accommodation but warm (it was unseasonably cold).

We loved our Easter Holiday at Elaine and Kens Barcoo Farmstay. The kids had a ball and we all loved the activities that included feeding the pigs, calves, lambs, chickens, and the silky ride. A real highlight was getting on the back of the trailer for a drive up to the top paddocks to feed the cows one afternoon. We'd...

We stayed 2 nights and Elaine and Ken couldn't have been more accommodating. They are great with the kids and you are really encouraged to participate. Our accommodation was clean and there was lots of room for us (a family of 5). Plus Elaine makes the most AMAZING bread!!

We took our daughter to stay 2 nights in Barcoos during Chinese New Year. My daughter loved it very much. She would like to visit this farm every year. We are from Shanghai and did not have opportunities to experience farm living. It was great. Elaine and Ken are perfect host. Thanks very much to their hospitality. It was the...

We had an absolutely brilliant time at Barcoo’s barn! We were looking for a farmstay experience where we and the kids could really get our hands dirty and we weren’t disappointed. The second we arrived we were greeted by two cute little calves, and our 3-year old was whisked away to do his farm duties – feeding the lambs, chickens,...

We had another fabulous weekend at Barcoo's Barn... In the hussle and bussle it is just so nice to get away to the relaxed family friendly Farmstay. Kids as usual loved helping Farmer Ken and Elaine take care of the farm and their beautiful animals. I enjoyed sitting in a sunny spot on the verandah having a good chat with...

We recently had a brilliant three days staying in our Fifth Wheeler with our two Granddaughters living the farm life with Elaine and Farmer Ken. The girls thoroughly enjoyed all the animals and activities which were actively shared by Elaine and Ken. The girls really got their hands (and face and clothes and feet) dirty and loved it. They petted...

We took our 3 grandchildren aged 3,5 & 6 and we all had such a great time doing real farm activities. Elaine and Farmer Ken are the perfect hosts, and Elaine is hands on with the children so that they can learn and have fun while enjoying all the animals. Riding the ponies and actually milking a cow and collecting...

I took my three children ages 12,13,14 to Barcoos and we had a ball. There were animals galore including an adorable bow-legged lamb, fat gluttonous pigs and tiny-sized to enormous-sized horses. There was mud, cows milk in the face, horse poo, sheep poo, duck poo, feeding pigs with spoons, fondling tame chickens, tractor drives. The kids were fully engaged and...

We spent 3 nights at this delightful farm stay and our 2 kids 8 and 5 are all the better for it. We are one of the few who have camped recently and to those considering it do it! The camp site was grassed with amazing views from our camper trailer, the camp kitchen and facilities were some of the...
