My husband and I stayed here two nights as a part o f a road trip, we didn't realise we came when there was some car show on and a big football match so the place was packed. I have mixed feelings over the place due to the bistro. Wifi was okay and the room was large and extremely clean. I couldn't say one thing was wrong with it. It is an old hotel but it's been spruced up and was great. You park in front of the rooms and luckily we were downstairs. Safety exists via entering a gate with your room card. There is cover downstairs and some seating in front of rooms but it was inconsistent. Some had chairs, some had table and chairs and some rooms didn't have any. We had one chair. There was tea and coffee but whoever cleaned the room forgot to stock up on coffee. I rang reception and she came running down, with three little coffees (three?) and one was all mangled and squashed and she said, 'Just straighten it out.' I found that bizarre. Perhaps they ran out of coffee. The stay was good but our take away experience was not. They have a large bistro and because it was booked out that night we thought we thought we would get takeaway which was an option. You ring the bistro, order and then go pick it up at the bistro. I went to pick up the order, the girl asked me what name I booked the takeaway under and I advised I wasn't asked for my name just room number. I then waited next to another lady who was waiting for takeaway, she asked me if I'd been asked for my name at the time of the booking. She hadn't either yet when she came to pick up her order was also asked what name she booked dinner under. We stood there and watched complete chaos. Two young staff were being directed by another young woman where to take food orders to tables, they were running around being sent to the wrong tables. Our food was finally placed on the counter, I wasn't sure it was ours but during Covid times one would think there would be consideration for hygeine. One girl stuck her head in our meals three times each before writing on the packaging what it was. She did not have a mask on. No one did that worked there. This took forever, by the I got I was given my meals the other lady had been served first. Our meals weren't cold, just lukewarm and breathed on. Have a look at the bangers and mash - they are like bunnings sausages (but dried). We did risk it and ate there the next night. That was a better experience.

Our room was great, very comfortable, ordered dinner as a takeaway from the bistro, quite nice. However can’t say the same for the breakfast. We ordered bacon & eggs and the bacon was mostly burnt to a crisp, we ate what we could as we did not have time to request our breakfast be prepared again. We politely asked the waitress for a partial refund and she asked the manager to speak to us. We showed the manager the burnt offerings and was advised that is the way they like it!!! We were a offered $4.00 refund which she advised was the cost of the bacon, may stay again but will definitely not go to the bistro for breakfast.

Very clean and comfortable.
The bed was a little too hard and the water pressure could use some work,
Overall very clean , dated on the outside but the inside has obviously recently been refurbished.
Would stay again though, easy check in and check out

The room was nice and tidy on arrival, but unfortunately during the during the second days stay the cleaner had decided to search my belongings, I reported this to reception but the person wouldn't let me finish explaining and would talk over me, really wasn't listening and made me feel like i was lying. I also asked for the sheets to be changed (twice) as there was a stain on the sheet, but this request was ignored, as it was expalined to me that extended stays dont require the sheets to be changed for up to 7 nights, even with the stain being evident from the first night.

If you don't want your privacy invaded by strangers searching your belongings, and reasonable requests for changing the sheets to be ignored, then I wouldn't stay here !
I know i will never stay here again !

Beds were comfy, bathroom okay, lovely hot shower. Air conditioner filters have never been cleaned since unit installed. It was freezing when we arrived and we had to crank up air conditioner to 30 on heat. It took ages to even get remotely warm, and we left it on 30 all night! Unheard of! If the filters were clean, the air conditioner would be more efficient. There is another vent on side of cupboard facing unit and it has 2 cm of dust on it. Floor in bathroom could be cleaner around edges. Unit is 70's and that's okay just fix the air. Budget or not (there was nothing else available), a warm customer is a happy customer

Room for 3 persons only had one chair. Queen bed had a door behind it so you couldn't sit on bed without hitting your head on the door lock and chain. TV was in front of mirror. Extremely small fridge that was so frosted over that the freezer couldn't be used. Carpet needed a decent clean. Shower curtain was broken so couldn't be pulled over door opening so water from shower went all over the floor and onto the carpet. No pressure in cold water in hand basin.
No body in reception after 2pm on Sunday. Bar staff have no idea how to assist when it comes to checking in or anything else to do with the motel.
Was woken at 5am by garbage truck emptying industrial waste bin

Service was very slow and in the restaurant, the manager called a customer ‘a turd’ and they were kicking people out before their meal was served. In addition the manager tried to take a full wine glass out of another customers hand. Food was ok but was no longer enjoyable as some people were force to eat their untouched food in a take away container. I would never consider going there again and I would definitely not recommend eating there.

We were lucky because I had actually booked this hotel for the wrong month, so luckily, they had availability for the night when we showed up.

LOCATION
Located right next to the showground, it was very convenient. Walking from the main street to the hotel is easy. Service station next door and easy parking

ROOM
we got a renovated room, which was great. It jad a double le bed and 2 singles. New bathroom finishes, which was good. Would have liked a door on the shower . Beds were comfy, and we pushed them together for our son to be closer to us. Small fridge. We were up near the end, so it had 2 doors. One on the parking side and one on the other side. Parking was included.

FACILITIES
Free parking, pool but didn't use it. Didn't use mush of the facilities. They have the hotel bar to have something to eat.

Perfect little spot to stay. Try and get a new renovated room. We had people in the room next to us in a family room and it wasn't renovated so it was really run down and old.

Through circumstances beyond my control I found myself looking for accom in Bathurst for the night. Both the tow truck & taxi driver recommended the Panorama and I was happy I ended up here and managed to grab one of the last 2 rooms available. Clean and comfortable is how I best describe the room, not a 5star city hotel, but a good country town option.
The bistro/pub was buzzing with what appeared a mix of guests and locals, so knew it must be ok and wasn’t disappointed. The chicken schnitty hit the spot washed down by 2 cold beers.

Stayed at the motel overnight. Ordered take away from the restaurant. It was excellent, especially the pasta. Would really recommend it.

The food was served fast, clearly fresh and home made. There is also a good mixed selection on the menu.
