Except for the water view , we weren’t great fans of Batemans Bays . Good beaches nearby but otherwise we weren’t very impressed . Hotel ok but nothing special . Lady who checked us on was very helpful .
Stayed for a night. Room furnishings were quite old. Quite overpriced for the quality. Were given a ground floor corner room. Entrance was quite aloof and the balcony was just next to pool. So, there was not much privacy and was quite noisy till late evening. Overall, good for a very short stay for lack of other options.
View was the best part. We paid over $400 a night for the Deluxe Queen Room with Balcony and Sea View however there was not anything “delux” about the room. You can tell they have tried to do a cheap update of the room interior however it has been very poorly done. The bathroom was tiny and didn’t allow enough room to move comfortably around. No bath mats , hand towels or face washers supplied. Beds were comfortable but were on wheels and rolled away from you as you tried to sit on them. Exit door was extremely hard to open or close and posed a safety issues due to misaligned door frame. We ate out at the bistro and the food was nice and service was great. Overall I felt this accommodation was over priced and the photos on their website do not give a true representation of the facilities or rooms…
>Room was recently renovated >Bed plus pillows were comfy >Location was central to everything >Parking available >Fridge was a bit smelly and stopped working at one point >Could hear outside noise >Tea/coffee provided but milk was off as fridge went off
We stayed here in November. The room was basic but got the job done. The hotel is close to everything. It is on a main Street so there are cafes and restaurants within walking distance. There is also a restaurant onsite The staff are friendly and helpful and there is free onsite parking too.
