This motel certainly has a lot of positives going for it, location right in the middle of town, free parking and of course water views (if you book that type of room). The room itself was very clean, lots of thought has gone into decor and the presentation of the room, even down to chocolates on the towels on arrival. Quality Bathroom amenities, T2 teas and Coffee machine are all nice touches. Bed is very comfortable. But there are some negatives, Bathroom is small dated and has nowhere to put toiletries, TV needs updating, but the biggest disappointment was the large bush in front of the room blocking any kind of view when seated, there are better options to preserve privacy, and what a waste of that view, which is why you pay extra for the room!

Thanks for your feedback - we always strive to be better. Our location has many positives and the ground floor room priced at just a little higher ($20) than a non waterfront room - certainly has a great aspect on the promenade. Privacy an issue hence the reason for the enclosed garden courtyard and only two steps to the water. Certainly if you book a first floor room or Penthouse Apartment you get more elevation of view - there is always alternative options and priced accordingly. We are in the process of upgrading and redevelopment and are mindful that everyone's wants and needs and different.

I was fortunate enough to stay at this magnificent boutique accommodation on Saturday 1st February. The start to this year has been a rough one so it was so lovely just to get away and be able to put my feet up. We decided to splurge and stay in the Penthouse Suite which was simply breathtaking. I received a phone call from Alison (the owner) the night before we checked in and she so kindly offered us a free additional night. The hospitality before we even arrived was A+. The suite itself felt like a home - it had everything one could possibly need. I have travelled to a lot of places across the world and regularly travel to different destinations along Australia's coastline and this is by far the best of the BEST! It is ideally situated on the Promenade; a short 2 minute stroll to all the eateries and shops in the Bay. The views are to die for. The main bedroom has sweeping views of the bay and was simply magical to fall asleep listening to the waves crash against the rocks, a mere 10m away. This destination is perfect for both couples and families and I will 110% be returning as soon as possible and urging everyone else travelling down that way to do so as well. You will not find accommodation anywhere else that is better value for money and where the owners and staff treat you the way Alison and her team do. Excellent location and views from some rooms. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. Some minor renovations taking place that created some noise during the day. Some rooms were very spacious. Showers needed a screen to keep the rest of the bathroom dry. Noisy fridge in my room.

I stayed in the first floor waterfront room. It was absolutely beautiful inside, with gorgeous hardwood furniture and an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was great, with beautiful Australian toiletries, including handwash. The hairdryer was good! The kitchenette had everything needed for a cheese platter, or some light breakfast in the morning, and the T2 teas and biccies were a nice treat. There's a good mini bar too! I made a cheese platter and sat on the patio with it's stunning view over the Clyde River, and spent a very productive afternoon business planning in the serene environment. The service was exceptional - above and beyond. Location is fabulous, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, coles and woolies depending on what you're after - lovely access to the promenade for an evening or morning walk. There is slight town noise - but more like a low chatter which is quite charming, and it is easily blocked out with the heavy sliding door for sleep. I would highly recommend a visit!

We stayed 2 nights here in a ground floor room with a view over the Bay and nothing was too much trouble for the owner and the staff. Our room was fantastic and for privacy the ground floor rooms have a solid wall outside on the balcony. The seats were also low for the same reason, when we asked for stools so that we could sit up at the wall and have drinks and nibbles the owner found some and bought them to our room with no fuss. The bed was comfortable, spotlessly clean and everything is within an easy stroll including Dan Murphys. We also went for a morning walk to Corrigans Beach and back an easy flat walk on an excellent cycle/walking path, just over 5kms there and back. Will definitely stay here again if in BB although possibly on first floor.

Usually I’ll post a review immediately when I’ve had a good or bad trip experience. I completely forgot until now how good this hotel is. From the moment we entered reception and met Alison, my wife and I were warmly welcomed and felt very much at home. The hotel is close to everything and literally a few steps from the boardwalk and Clyde River.
Spacious, clean and modern rooms. Because of its location on a busy street we were expecting a bit of noise. No - as it’s set back from the street.
Can’t wait to go back!

We have just spent 3 nights at Bay Breeze. Our room was ground floor with beautiful water views. For me, the highlight of the room was the verandah! It offered 2 very comfy chairs offering total privacy (a solid wall), and views of the water. Sitting on the verandah, at night, listening to the lapping water was truly memorable. The rooms were great. The bed was very comfy, lots of PowerPoints and extra seating in the room. The bathroom was small but adequate with a generous supply of Leif shampoo, body wash etc. The location however was amazing. Great restaurants for all budgets,as well as a shopping center for anything you have run out of, or forgotten,within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and there if needed, but not in the way. Highly recommend !

We found this place fantastic with the room size being very large and close by everything we needed and wanted. The staff were amazing being extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I could think of was that the bathroom was in need of a little facelift but that’s only a cosmetic thing which didn’t warrant a loss of a point as it was fully functioning and did the job what it was supposed to do. We will definitely be back again and next time definitely getting the water views

Were do I start met by lovely Alison made us feel welcomed straight away. Took us up to our room herself with milk in hand for our tea/coffee,when we saw our room we couldnt have asked for anything better room 5 over looks the bay lovely breeze in the afternoon just a fantastic room and view.The room was clean updated and everything you would like in a room from sanitiser to chocolates. Very friendly staff, a beautiful apartment with king-size bed and delightful water views. Everything was immaculately clean. A selection of T2 teas was provided. Luxurious 'Leif' bodycare products were provided for bathroom use. We were on the first floor and you need to be able to carry your luggage without a lift. On-site parking is available very close to the apartments. We would definitely stay again!

There is a small beach on the northern side of the bridge which is a 10 minute walk - south, the closest beach is a 30 minute walk. We have two bikes that are also available - with a pathway all the way. We have numerous wonderful beaches both north and south within a 10 - 15 minute drive. We are located at the River mouth! Trust this helps.
All rooms have a small kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge and microwave on request. The apartments have a kitchen plus outdoor BBQ facilities.
We have a daily room service in all rooms except weekly service in the Penthouse Apartment as it is a fully self contained unit. The free parking is situated off street in front of the accommodation but not undercover. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you require further information.
There are more places to choose from in the Batemans Bay area.
