Very conveniently located, quiet place, close to Armidale attractions. The hosta were friendly and helpful and took us to feed the Alpacas. The place was clean and fully equipped. Major complaint is the bathroom, impossible to use the basin and a tight squeeze, unable to towel one self dry after the shower.

Room Tip: This place is overpriced. Have stayed in many B&B's with far more reasonable rates.

We do highlight on our website the fact that the bathroom in the Garden Suite is small so I am sorry if you missed this information. I see you booked through booking.com so I can see why you may have missed this. It is difficult to convey aspects of your property on their site hence we are no longer using them. However the luxurious Conservatory Suite does have a much larger bathroom and very spacious living area. Bron.

A great spot for the family, feeding alpacas and great hosts. Breakfast was home made bread, berries etc and eggs however you cooked them. Very comfortable for a family of 4 and just up the road from the Uni!

Thanks for your feedback. Our property is close to the University so is always booked out very early for UNE graduation and is well frequented by lots of external students.

They have 2 guest rooms - we had the smaller. Impeccably clean, tastefully appointed. Breakfasts are a huge feast and not to be missed. Hosts are congenial and available to answer all questions about alpacas. Feeding time is wonderful especially for the excited wide eyed children. Alpaca wool available. We will return.

We need to travel to Armidale regularly and although there are a large number of motels the experience pales after a while. We booked the Garden Room at Glenhope for two nights on a recent visit and really enjoyed the experience. The bathroom is twee and the step up to the shower is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues but that aside the accommodation is welcoming and comfortable. The main room is spacious and there is a dining table and very basic galley kitchen which allows you to prepare breakfast and simple evening meals. The garden is beautiful and the alpacas complete a bucolic scene. The owners are very amenable and friendly but there is no question of intrusion of your space. Highly recommended as a peaceful location only 4km from the edge of town for your Armidale stay. New England at its most scenic.
