Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We stayed for 1 night with our 2 dogs. Fantastic flexible service (we arrived much later than planned), clean rooms (you wouldn’t know that dogs stay here), nice hot showers perfect after a day on the road, and a grassed area/nearby footpaths to take your dogs out for a stroll/to do their business. There was adequate space in our room for 2 large dog crates. We would definitely stay again.

On the night we stayed there were quite a number of dogs, so if your dog isn’t dog social, this may not be the best option for you, as everyone is understandably taking their dogs out in the evening/morning at similar times.

Stayed here overnight with our 2 dogs. Hosts friendly and room was clean and tidy. Not the most modern place but still quite comfortable, quiet overnight and a good hot shower for the morning.
A bonus for us- pets are allowed to stay here (for an extra fee) and there is plenty of space in room to have our 2 dog soft crate beds set up in there.
An Indian food truck was luckily operating a short walk from the motel when we were there, with delicious food. Also awesome pizza right across the road. So we were set for meals.
We have previously stayed here and will stay here again when needed especially since they are pet friendly.

As many people who travel with their dogs between Sydney and Melbourne will know it is quite difficult to find reasonably priced accommodation that is dog friendly, but the Albury Classic Motor Inn is one such place. The accommadation is not particularly modern but it is clean and the linen is good quality. The rooms are quite spacious with a kitchette that includes a microwave and toaster and the bathroom area is also spacious.

I was very disappointed with my stay. We got the spa room which was dated, however this was expected from the photos. The room didn't have a lot of what was supposed to be included. Wifi didn't work, no foxtel channels, no electric log fire, no working candles or incense. The room had absolutely no insulation so we could hear everything in the room above and outside. The guests above us were noisy all night and staff didn't answer the phone to resolve the issue. We had no sleep and the lady at the front desk was not very friendly. Would not recommend even for the price. Rooms also desperately need updating and some maintenance. Multiple light globes were blown and the front door was bent so didn't shut properly.

Warm welcome, the room was adequate and has everything i need to stay with my dog.
Clean beds, clean room, clean bathroom, great pressure of shower head and in a quiet area in the evening.
There's a pizza place cross the road, Aldi just short walk distance.
Thank you, definitely a secret gems...:)

My little dog and I could not have been made to feel more welcome. The room was well set-up and very clean. The bed was very comfortable - nice and firm and cosily warm from lightweight manchester. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

Great value family and pet accommodation on stop over from Sydney to Melbourne. Friendly service, clean rooms, good beds and linen, hot strong showers and Milo and bickies for the kids. Our pup enjoyed the hospitality too. Great experience. 🐕‍🦺❤️

Checked in here and was given room 7. What a gorgeous surprise . Chap on the desk was so pleasant. The room was spotless, beautiful crisp sheets on the bed. Way to many towels for me even if I had used the spa in my unit. Every thing I would want in a motel unit was there plus more. So quiet overnight. Can't believe it is rated 3 1/2 stars. Should be 4 stars.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Albury showing our dog. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was older style but nicely decorated and comfortable for a good stay. The microwave and fridge in room was great for dining in with our dog and staff provided us with any crockery and cutlery as we needed. Delicious pizza is right across the road. Plenty of off street parking- even for our trailer. Location was very quiet for a good night sleep. Would happily stay here again and recommend to others.
