Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well appointed room with queen bed and adequate cooking facilities (microwave, hot water jug). Suitable sized dining table. easy chairs and small outside courtyard. Easy walk to main shops via wide streets. We arrive early and staff allowed us to put luggage into room while they finished cleaning it and we walked off to lunch. Air conditioning was a boon as it was a hot couple of days and staff left it on while we were out. Two lovely quite nights - would stay again as we were visiting relatives in Albury and surrounds

Terrible motel! We booked a family room for 4 and it was the size of a shoe box and in need of a lot of updating. Our room was nothing like the pictures on their website. The double bed needs replacing, we kept rolling into the middle of it, no support at all. The room was old and worn. At $295 a night we expected more. Do not recommend!

Lovely people and the room was clean, comfortable and warm. Large rooms with all ammenities and in a great central location. But zero wifi. And at 9am there was no one at reception to talk to. Not great for business travellers needing to get some work done.

Excellent budget motel. Lovely folk to deal with, extremely clean, spacious, warm on a cold night, plus a kitchenette. Comfortable bed, good towels, WiFi and very quiet. Very good value. I will be back.

This was our second stay at this motel and once again we found it very clean, exceptionally good shower and very close to town. Very reasonable price. Well equipped and even provided free bottled water.

This was an overnight stop on a long trip. The motel was close to the cinema, railway station, shops, restaurants and pubs. Even though it was a Saturday night stay the area was very quiet. The rooms either side of us were occupied but we didn't hear anything. No road noise. It is obviously a 70s build (lime green bench top is a giveaway) but has had a very recent facelift. Room was spotless. Dental care kit and shaving kit provided, something that motels/hotels with more stars very often don't provide. Three gripes though. 1. Patio out the back is uninviting (minor matter). 2. Bed was too firm (personal taste). 3. Quite a difference in floor height when stepping from tiled area to carpeted area. Actually a bit dangerous for older people or those with balance issues.

Friends and I had a great one night stay in the upstairs family apartment. The bath was a welcome bonus after a day of hiking. The apartment was huge and clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Located in a good location just a couple of blocks away from the Main Street. Reasonably quiet at night.

A comfortable clean motel conveniently located not too far off the Hume. Perfect location if you are heading to Melbourne, as it’s so easy to get on and of the highway. Easy walking distance to main Albury shops, cafes and restaurants. Great amount of extras including plates cutlery and microwave. Comfortable bed and good size bathroom and shower. Well priced.

Stayed overnight on interstate trip. Very clean, really comfy beds. Well appointed with little extras such as a microwave and basic toiletries. Staff really helpful. On the night we stayed the highway was diverted along the old road which goes past the motel but it was still really quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

I don’t know if the hotel is under new management, but someone is certainly making an effort with this motel. Our room, while older, was partially renovated with new carpet, curtains, fresh paint + many new fixtures and fittings. There were also unexpected extras included such as toothbrushes, shaving kit and slippers. The room and premises felt fresh and clean. We were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast tray which was brought to our room-a fantastic touch. The location is great-walking distance to Main Street shops and restaurants and the staff were all really lovely. Highly recommended.
