Free breakfast was clearly advertised on the bookings availability page, but was not forthcoming. This was a past feature of this motel, and much loved by it's regulars. We stayed for 2 nights, and the correct Wi Fi login was only provided to us in the last couple of hours of our final day, despite repeated requests. Even then, it was so slow as to be unusable, and we only managed to send 3 emails after they cued to be sent. The bed was hard underneath, with softer cover - very uncomfortable. The cheapest synthetic quilt made it too hot to use, further exacerbating our discomfort. We will not return, and advise prospective guests to consider other options.

Large room, clean , comfortable bed, free Wifi, coffee/tea facilities, on site convenient parking, beautiful landscaping, playground, picnic/bbq facilities, pool was clean and refreshing, staff was helpful. Easy check in process. Motor Inn was off the main road.

Everything was great, from check in to check out. Excellent value, lovely and clean, quiet, comfortable. Older style, well maintained, huge room that we could spread out in. Kitchenette was very well equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again if travelling this way.

Room was spacious with lots of room to move around and sitting area. Small balcony (walk through path) area outside … sliding door allowed for fresh air. Room was very clean with good AC. Bed was very comfortable … good pillows and covers. Plenty of storage and kitchenette with basic necessities like coffee, tea, kettle, cups, plates, etc. Bathroom was a little dated but the shower had great hot water and pressure! A real highlight. Disappointing that wifi did not work in the room, despite checking with reception … boosters needed.

Have just spent 25 days at Hume Country Motor Inn while in Albury from the UK visiting our family. Received a very warm welcome from Neetu, the new owner and we’re pleased to see that the high standards we experienced during a 2 night stay in 2019 have been maintained. Our Queen standard room was , spacious, spotlessly clean and fully stocked with towels, toiletries, milk and tea/coffee making essentials. Hot water was always readily available and the shower was excellent. Everything advertised was supplied. We didn’t need our room serviced daily but this was willingly done on request, to a high standard. Similarly, whenever we needed clean towels or any consumables we only had to ask. All the staff we met have been welcoming and helpful. This motor inn has been the perfect base for our extended stay and we have no hesitation recommending it. We would certainly stay here again on our next visit.…

I stayed at this motel in July and since then new owners have taken over. Did not find them at all professional and the reception smelt of curry. The room had spider webs hanging from ceiling and walls and also smelt of some pungent odor. Outside the lawns had not been mowed for some time. The previous owners kept the motel in very good condition

We stayed in a large family room. Had 4 singles beds in the main room and a queen bed in a separate bedroom. Big screen tv, 2 couches and a 6 seater dining table. A very nice surprise to have such a big and spacious room in a motel.

Our stay (Room 37) was a snug little place with pool, park and barbecue right out the back. My family and I are doing the trip from Melbourne to Sydney and we stopped at Albury. This is a great motel in a nice little spot, far enough from the busy streets but only a 5 minute drive to all the pubs and supermarket. The place we booked had four single bed and one master, all the kids slept in the beds whilst the adults used the master. The room had a big TV, two couches, five beds in all, air conditioning, WIFI, a nice little kitchen and bathroom. The motel had a breakfast menu which you had to order by 5 the night before, and a laundry. The place has all the necessities and everything you need. Overall this is a nice, snug place to stay and was very peaceful.

We had to find a place to stay in Albury for our group of 7 (5 adults and 2 children) for our trip returning home from a week at Mt Hotham skiing. The usual places we've booked in the past were not available, so we booked the 3 rooms (1 twin room with a queen and a single; and 2 queen rooms). The motel is just a few minutes drive from the centre of Albury, but it's in a great and easily accessible location. The rooms were wonderful, and because we had asked to be together they gave us 2 x twin rooms and 1 x queen (more space than what we needed, but to make us happy with the three rooms next to each other). The customer service was excellent, the rooms comfortable, great beds and pillows, nice and very functional kitchenettes, aircon, tv, etc. We could not have ask for more! we'll be returning next time we're traveling around Albury for sure.
