On a recent trip this was the cheapest of 15 motels we stayed at. Unlike other reviews though, we found it provided exceptional value for money. Very large room with two very comfortable double beds. Good shower. Air-con and wi-fi worked well. Separated from a very pleasant River parkland by a quite busy road. But with the double glazing we hardly even knew it was there. Sure, the rooms are a tad dated and would benefit from a refurb, and the cleaning was adequate rather than great. But we appreciated the big, airy, well equipped room at a most reasonable price.

Rooms were clean & adequate but don’t expect much more. Reception staff were friendly. No daily room cleaning, changing of linen. Breakfast included means 1 pkt corn flakes, 2pieces white bread with spreads & long life milk - for you to prepare in your room. & wash your own dishes! Thread bare towels. Pool not open.

Stopped over one night stay, after a 5hr drive we wanted a coffee but no milk in fridge, one out of three bed side lights worked two never had bulbs in. The carpet was so old it looked like mountain ranges in it. The place needs up dating. We were asked if we wanted breakfast bought to the room we both said yes, they bought it at 6oclock in the evening in a big bowl of cereals and bread for toast and couple of speads but again no milk. We got up and left 6.30 the following morning, just one positive it was a good shower but wouldn't stay again.

The motel should check the rooms before they allocate it on the website for booking. I booked a Deluxe Triple Room and received a double room with an external door that would not lock, leaving it open to the public to enter. I was then moved into a single room with five beds with the excuse that the owner is not there to fix the lock and there were no other rooms available.

Will not recommend anyone to this motel.

The room was filthy dirty. The top of furniture was so dusty you could write your name in it!. The fridge was frozen over leaking water on the floor, the toilet floor base leaked every time it flushed. The air condition front case was pulled away & could not use the air con in case the cover fell on domes head. They say wash & wipe you own dishes but don’t supply tea towel to wipe. Rubbish overflowing every where. Very noisy as the motel is on a major road set near a set of traffic & pedestrian lights.

This is quite simply one of the worst motels in Australia. Our room was not clean and came with cereal left on the bench, dirt in the bathroom and mould on the windows. Don’t believe the photos online, you’re more likely to experience what we did (see attached images) which included odd and broken furniture, a stained lampshade and bathroom linen as thin as tea towels.
The service was (almost) non-existent and when we asked about breakfast we were referred to a nearby bakery probably because staff couldn’t be bothered fixing our breakfast for the next day.
As it’s on a main road, there’s also quite a bit of traffic noise.
The only positive feedback we had were that the beds weren’t terrible and most (not all) TV channels actually worked!
If this motel had the only last remaining room in Albury I’d probably opt to keep driving. Absolutely terrible.

Disgusting, dirty and dated!
Find a different motel to stay this room is gross.
Needed a room very late and last minute and this was the only room left and they charged $200 for it.

Will be out at the crack of Dawn. Don’t even want to sleep in here!

By far the worst room I have ever stayed in!

Large room good location but that’s where the positives stop.
Bathroom had mould in shower, talc on the floor and loose threads from previous occupants.
Room smelt of of mould or dust and you can’t open a window to let the air through.
Breakfast is offered but during times of COVID people don’t want share options.

After booking and paying the owner wanted to charge me $25 extra per child for a room that only had a queen bed. This is contradicting to the website that says $10 extra per child. I questioned the owner and she became aggresive and said I should leave. She told me that they use to getting bad reviews and she doesnt care. The pool was green and closed but nothing was said on the website. Rooms are old, smelly with spiders in the corners. It was a traumatic exprience for me.

Please people spend a little more and stay somewhere else.
This place is not worth what we paid per night.
Only place we could get at last minute as we had to be in Albury for a birthday. Very dated and grubby but seriously, OH&S would have a field day here. EG: poor electrics in room, NO lighting whatsoever at night along footpaths to rooms or up the stairways or along upper level to rooms. Though light fittings are evident they were not working. We needed to use the torches on our phones to see where we were going to get up the stairs to our room and even to get the key in the door. Someone will have a nasty nasty accident here one day an sue the motel. We did notice the front street facing of the motel is adorned with many lights and lit up like a Christmas tree.( Pity they were not inside the quadrangle car park and up the stairs out the back)
A sign out the front showing "4 stars, I question that, spa room( no evidence of that)pool( closed), WIFI( never worked).
