Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great place to stop on a road trip. Plenty of parking. Our rooms upstairs were large & clean, with a decent kitchenette. Access is by several sets of stairs. The free WIFI was fine. Short walk down the street to good food options.

I stayed at the Albury Paddle steamer for the national Dragon boat championships. a lot of the teams stayed there and they were fully booked. despite them being busy the service staff did an amazing job, every night we came home the room was cleaned, restocked even the biscuits. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the location is fantastic and very close to so many tourist attractions. I'd absolutely recommend this motel to anyone and will definitely stay there again.

Friendly greeting by the Receptionist. Our room was well equipped with a queen sized bed, fridge, microwave, crockery, cutlery, plenty of bench space, small table and 2 chairs. Shower was good with nice water pressure. The bed was firm but comfortable and I believe they are being changed in July 2023. Heaps of off-street parking. We travel through Albury quite a bit so will be using this motel often.

Clean and well situated. We were on a road trip from Newcastle to Melbourne. Spacious room. Comfortable bed and a kitchenette and nice bathroom. Upstairs, but ample parking. No noticeable noise from the road. Close to lovely walks and parklands near the Murray River. Lots of eating places nearby.

We booked this hotel because it is a Golden Chain Hotel, and generally my experience with Golden Chain has been excellent, most seem to be owner operated, spotlessly clean and value for money, unfortunately this place would be the worst Golden Chain hotel I have ever stayed at. Very ordinary, rooms are large but old and dated. Spare pillows thrown on the floor of the wardrobe, and pillow cases looked as though they were not changed from the previous guest, no towels in the room, had to ask at reception, and we had to clean the fridge. Crockery and spoons had not been cleaned so we had to scub those as well before using, this is so bad in these days of covid. clearly the cleaners need a good kick in the proverbial, and owner need to closer inspect. Disappointingly the restaurant was closed and only room service available. Not too sure what standards need to be reached to be in the Golden Chain network, but this place is well below par. So what was good I hear you ask? Location seems ok, we found a decent pub for dinner a few klm's away, lighting in the room was great, so many hotels seem to save money with low voltage globes, and bed was comfy.

It’s pretty ordinary. It’s cheap so we didn’t expect much. But, we would have liked: soap and shampoo in the room, the refrigerator to be cleaned of recent guests’ food, covers on the doonas, bedside lamps that worked. The bathroom was bathroom clean if you didn’t look up. There have to be better places to stay in Albury. We will not return.

Great place to stop on a road trip. Plenty of parking. Rooms are large & clean, with a decent kitchenette. Rooms could do with an upgrade, but appart from that, it is great. Easy access to the Hume if its a quick stop over & close to town if your staying a little longer. Would happily stay again.

Nice clean motel. Was quite noisy from 3.30 am onwards. Drunken fools followed by early leavers. Obviously no fault of the motel. Good location close to the river. Reasonable priced and was extremely busy on the Saturday night that we stayed. The motel has upstairs rooms that would require carrying luggage up stairs.

We had a large queen room, which is always very welcome as plenty of room for our luggage without it being in the way. The room and bathroom were very clean and the room was comfortable. We had a table and a bench for all the tech. Plenty of powerpoints too, something many hotels lack. Staff very busy and the hotel was fully booked but were friendly and helpful.

What a pleasant surprise, our standard queen room was very large. Massive long bench to put your suitcases and bags. Very well equipped kitchenette, and nice compact bathroom. This property would be great as a base to do some of the bike tracks around Albury. There would be ample room to bring your bikes into the room for overnight but it also has an awesome large car park away from street view. Only a few minutes to the town centre by car. We will stay here again.
