Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The receptionist was under training, so had to be guided through the usual check-in procedures, which did not allow for a great deal of informal interaction. However, the welcome was pleasant. The room was large and well furnished, including table and chairs and a large, very comfortable bed. Finding the light switches was a bit of a mission. Had a separate kitchenette with a wonderful selection of complimentary beverages and plenty of kitchenware to enable one to create one’s own snack or meal. Great large bathroom which contained a shower with exceptional water pressure. Spoilt only by the lack of the provisioning of face cloths (which appears to be a common Australian trait in the hospitality industry).

Very clean, quiet and pleasant, so we hope it stays that way as the Motel has just been sold. We hope that standards do not drop with the change in management and it will be interesting to see what reviews subsequent to this one have to say. We can tell you that the room was spotless and we had a comfortable night. We hope that the new owners keep up the great standard of this budget motel.

Super comfy beds, perfect pillows, and a separate room for the kids to sleep make this a perfect place to stay. Its location means you get a good nights sleep, with off-street parking. It's such a great place to stay we will be returning customers here.

The motel is rather dated in decor but our room was v clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was perfect for an overnight stay. We would happily stay here again. It was also within walking distance of the restaurant we chose for dinner.

Overnight stop over between Sydney and Melbourne. Nice country town motel that was well presented and very clean. The host was lovely and friendly. Had all the requirements needed, shower was great, with plenty of hot water. Bed super comfy, slept well. Easy check out next morning, would stop off again.

My son and I were on a trip, from Sydney to Albury, and we stayed overnight at the Albury City Motel. It was one of the cleanest and well presented rooms I've had the pleasure to sleep in. The owners, a husband and wife team, went out of their way to facilitate our very late arrival past normal closing hours which was really appreciated and made life SO much easier and less stressful. Everything was as you would want it to be in the room. very comfy single beds, CLEAN linen/sheets. All the surfaces were clean and the bathroom was clean and well sized. Even the shower was good and I don't often score a 'good' showerhead! The price was the best on offer anywhere so I really feel like we landed on our feet with this one. Not luxury-plus, for sure, but one of the very best so-called 3 star budget rooms I've stayed in over the years. I'm happy to give this a strong recommendation and would definitely stay there again if down Albury way and need a bed for a night or two. Donna was the very helpful lady who looked after us and her caring and attention to detail made all the difference to our stay with them. Thanks Donna!

An old school kinda motel which was superb. Lovely friendly owners. Room big and clean. Shower has great water pressure and a good sized shower hose - no need to dance around under it trying to get wet. I would stay again. Incredible value for money. Thanks! Frankie
