Stopover in Albury on our way to Adelaide. The motel at the Golf Club was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were great. Had everything we needed. The view was spectacular of the golf course and the hosts were more than helpful. The Golf Club is across the carpark from the motel and offers a discount on meals for those staying at the Motel. After a long drive from Newcastle it was nice to relax with a cold beer away from the chaos of noise and traffic and just stroll back to our room for a good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.

This is hard to beat value for money. I note it's rated No 1 of 33 in Albury. Well deserved. Only hesitation is that you need to book early, as rooms fill fast as there are often large groups book in on busy weekends. The golf club restaurant 100m away provides far and away the best meals we've had in Albury. The owners go above and beyond in making you feel at home. Early morning and evening you can relax in pristinely kept grounds. No need to spot for kangaroos on the golf course. You'll see them. If you are with international guests, this is Australian hospitality at its very finest.

We spent one night in the two bedroom unit. Conveniently located in North Albury, not far from the Sydney- Melbourne highway, the hotel which overlooks paddocks and open areas was surprisingly quiet. Parking was available at the door with level access to the single storey room. The hotel appears to be recently renovated, with an easy access modern shower, big fluffy towels, comfortable seating in a small sofa and a small dining table and comfortable, firm beds.. The heating was quick and efficient and the room was very clean and stocked with all items we required for our stay. Plenty of space for luggage and travel items. The hosts were the bonus. From our first phone enquiry with John to our face to face warm welcome and farewell from Helen they were helpful, good humoured and very friendly, without being intrusive.

Booked a Deluxe Queen Room for 1 night through the motel's website for $160/night, including breakfast.
The motel is attached to a Golf Club & has a lovely view overlooking the golf course & further out some mountains. Its very quiet & peaceful as previous reviewers have commented.
Easy checkin & form to be completed for breakfast choice. All staff encountered were friendly & professional.

We were allocated room 5. Parking is in front of the room. There is a raised verandah overlooking the course. It's a lovely comfortable spacious room, with a nice big window fronting that verandah & so has a lively outlook. The room & facilities is as described & excellent. Sofa & dining table with 2 chairs.
Wifi is free & fast & the air con works well & is very quiet. The bed is very comfortable.
The ensuite is spacious & has an openable window too.

The club is a short walk away from the motel complex, where the bistro provides very good food.

Breakfast choices included juices, cereals, toast & jams etc that are delivered the night before.

This motel is outstanding & we would certainly stay here again. Just loved the quiet & outlook!

I have stayed here 10 times now when in Albury for work and I love it.

The rooms look like basic motels rooms from the outside but inside they have newly redone bathrooms with fresh modern tiling and plantation shutters.
The linen is top quality, the same I was getting at a 5 star hotel in Albury previously.

The clubhouse for the golf course has great food at very competitive pricing, so when I stay here I don't leave the property.

And you have the view of the gold course and the kangaroos and birdlife to wake up to, so over it is great. I've also stayed here with my family when passing through on the Melbourne to Sydney drive

This motel is a have to a tired and hot traveler. The rooms are spacious, the air conditioner works well and the bed is very comfortable. The view across the Golf Course is green and peaceful and it is very quiet. There is also a restaurant just down the path and it provides tasty meals at very fair prices. The staff are so helpful. This is going to be our accommodation of choice every time we are in Albury!

The rooms are what you need for a decent sleep for a night. What makes this a 5 star review are the staff. Peter is so helpful and accommodating, you feel welcomed instantly and comfortable asking for anything you need. The shower pressure is amazing and it’s a short wander to a restaurant for dinner. Really easy stay for a night if you’re needing to break up a big trip, and I imagine it’s great for a golf holiday too!

We have stayed here a few times and keep going back.
They are always friendly and nothing is an issue.
The room is always clean, air con is on when we arrived as it was very hot and we got breakfast each morning included in the price with a variety of options.
It’s very close to the city centre and easy to get around.
I would highly recommend staying here.

This is a really cool motel. Arriving late afternoon on a hot February summer day, the genial manager Stewart McKinnon had thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning in our room prior to our arrival. Nice touch. We were allocated room #4 which had an elevated position overlooking the stunning golf course and what hits you immediately is how beautifully clean the room was. Absolutely spotless. The kitchenette included a microwave, toaster, kettle, tea/coffee and it came with a light breakfast of cereal, bread, milk and fruit juice. The ensuite was large and the shower excellent. An iron and board is also provided, plus free WiFi. Don’t miss a meal at the adjoining Golf Club, delicious food at reasonable prices, and the motel is terrific value for money. A most pleasant stay on a Sydney to Melbourne road trip.

We chose to stay overnight at the Commercial Golf Resort Motel, Albury. We were welcomed by John at reception, who gave us all the necessary information we required for our overnight stay. A breakfast hamper is delivered to your room in the evening for breakfast next morning. We were happy with the configuration of the room which included a small kitchenette, table and dining chairs, settee, queen size bed, along with a well fitted out bathroom. The room overlooks the golf course and there is parking outside the rooms. A short distance away is the Golf Club where evening meals are available. We would certainly return to this Motel if visiting Albury again. It is quiet and pleasant.
