Detailed Reviews
The good: The room was neat and clean as per website photos. The bed was really comfortable and there was no traffic noise from the road. The price was reasonable for our stay.
The bad: The pool area is in the back of the motel so you drive into an ugly car park and wonder if you have the right motel. The bathroom had a very mouldy ceiling over the shower and the toilet cistern kept running all night. The room smelt very strongly of bleach and this smell did not disappear during our stay. We had to keep the bathroom door closed due to the bleach odour. One of the bath towels provided had a 50cm hole in it! There were no instructions for the tv, air conditioner or wifi password in the room which was a little inconvenient.
Obviously, more attention needs to be taken with maintenance of bathroom and information provided to customers could be better.
Overall, I don't think we would stay again due to the mould/bleach situation.

Room was generous sized, location quiet, strong showers and water pressure. Quiet location, parking easy and short drive to town. Pool onsite a bonus. Air conditioner was adequate and overall a comfortable stay. Beds were very comfortable. Would return.

Seemed clean and tidy but upon closer examination place was a bit dirty. Especially the bathroom floor.
Bed was clean and we enjoyed sliding together into the middle of the bed.
Shower was high pressure and hot but certainly would have suited a midget rather than a 6ft 4in tall bloke….my shoulders were very clean however.
But for the price and location it was good.

Great room at a reasonable price. Very clean room with everything we needed. The staff at reception were very welcoming and even gave us real milk. The room was air conditioned and comfortable. The room had a balcony overlooking the pool and free wifi. We will definitely come back. The only thing that we had a problem with was our room being upstairs. If we come back we will request a room on the ground floor. There is plenty of parking and the room was quiet. Excellent excellent excellent!

First the good: The rooms are clean, with the usual facilities (tea/coffee, microwave etc). Beds are OK, just not firm enough for me. The spa needs to be booked, the sauna, too (was cold when we looked). There is an outside pool, but as we visited in July, not for us! Breakfast wasn't an option, but there are plenty of nearby businesses/cafes/bakerys/fast-food outlets, if that's your go. Albury is often used as a break of journey, and as such, this was adequate, just no "wow" factor.

Stayed one night en route between Sydney and Melbourne. It was very reasonably priced indeed. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The grounds, bbq and pool looked lovely but we did not try them on a very cold winter's day. The only slight drawback was the noisy aircon on a very cold night. The owners are new and very welcoming. Lots of fast food options across the road. We would return again on the same route.

Stayed overnight on our way back to Melbourne. Our double room was on the top level with a balcony overlooking the the gardens and pool/spa area. The heater was on when we arrived which we really appreciated. The room was clean spacious and had everything we needed.. Being on the main road , it was very quiet . Lovely warm greeting and a quick check in.
Overall, a very nice and comfortable motel and great value.
Would highly recommend.

While the Crystal Fountain Motel is a traditional motel our Room 16 on the upper level was bigger than standard. The room was very clean and tidy with a balcony looking over the pool area. The bed was very comfortable. The rate included a simple but good continental breakfast. The Lavington shopping centre is a short walk, as are all the fast food places and the Boomerang Hotel. Definitely a place to stay if passing through Albury.
