Love the Quest on Kiewa, staff are amazing, always friendly and nothing is a problem, they always seem to make you feel at home. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable and we can park the car and leave it as everywhere we want to go is in easy walking distance ( movies, restaurants, shopping). The Quest is perfect, I have no complaints.

Central location, spacious, clean and staff very friendly & courteous at all times. Rooms are comfortable and they seem to be in the process of updating carpets and painting which will make it shine. Good size room and bed was comfortable.

Convenient stop over if you are driving between Sydney & Melbourne. Central location for restaurants and the Botanical Gardens. Recently refurbished. One-bed apartment was very spacious, basic decor and soft furnishings but functional. Love the fact you can open the bedroom window (with fly screen) for fresh air and not have to sleep in the aircon. Balcony with table/chairs too. Two big smart TVs, lounge and bedroom. Shower was over the bath / prefer a walk-in shower. Undercover parking on site, restaurant downstairs (not part of Quest) open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service.

Stayed here for work for a week: I usually stay at quest or mantras around the country for work and usually they are pretty consistent in what they offer. Quest in Albury is perhaps the slight exception but I feel this is in no way a fault of their doing. The building itself is relatively modern with ample parking. All the staff I encountered were great and very helpful. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had laundry facilities, kitchenette and a good sized fridge. The internet varied anywhere from 20-50Mbps which is reasonably good for work or streaming needs. There is also a good restaurant downstairs which seemed pretty popular.

Unfortunately as others have already alluded to the hotel is a little run down and from my understanding is soon to undergo a renovation. I was given a disabled room which meant the bathroom, toilet and laundry was all in one space. This caused some issue with water drainage in the room but this was manageable. The floor was also heavily stained and was relatively dirty on arrival. The shower pressure was very low even for hotel standards. Water took around a minute to heat up and on certain mornings during my stay there was no access to hot water at all. The air conditioning was working but the machine was on its last legs. I’m also unsure when the filter was last cleaned in both the bathroom and air conditioning unit. Cleaning didn’t occur at all during my entire stay which was different to other quests I’ve stayed in where cleaning usually occurs at least once every 3 days. Perhaps I needed to hang the make up my room sign outside the door but this was a little unclear. An extra swipe is needed for electricity in the room but they only provided one swipe which was a little bit strange. The corridors on certain days did have a very strong sewerage smell which at its worst can be quite over powering. Overall a lot of the small things relate to flaws in the infrastructure and everything being severely dated.

The point is that despite these flaws there is a real sense that with a decent renovation this quest can be great again. The backbone is there for something special. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable and I will watch with a keen eye and return following their renovation is complete…

Very very tired hotel rooms dated around the 80s, outside face looks modern, but should be around a 3 star property definitely not worth $170 a night more around $120
We booked in the morning, asked specifically for a king size bed, arrived early evening- after which the gentleman at front desk said he would upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite as the king bed in the studio was not accommodated.
Not only old room & dated but dirty too.
Saving grace was had heater in room, comfy, clean bedding & extra pillows used extra blanket but it was old & ugly.
These are small things ( blankets) to upgrade, that don’t cost a lot

As a healthcare provider I ask all the hygienic and sane people
to stay away from this hotel.
Room was booked for me to live for at least 26 weeks in advance.
Management is well aware of making a substantial amount with a long stay customer.
All in return Quest management did to me was allocating the most darkest
horrible room at the back of the building facing the back of another building.
To make matters worse next and opposite to my bedroom was the rooftop
with ventilation machines in addition to several ventilators from the building opposite creating a noise similar to a carbon producing factory at full blast 24/7 !
Females at the front desk are nice and try to help within their limited capacity though.
I contacted my agent for change of the room and was told by the manager that
room will not be changed for a week until a vacancy comes up and even that
is not for sure and not guaranteed! Quest demanded extra $52 in addition to the greed fare per night if they could ever consider change of the room at all !

My million dollar question to the management is :
- - > is this how you at the Quest Hotel treat a poor front line healthcare provider
who is supposed to stay for at least 6 months at your hotel and in your city
and who has left behind the comfort of his own place in Sydney ?
And before I finish writing, what is that offensive malodor in the corridors at
level 1 ??? Absolutely egregious !
Quest Hotel made me realize I have to tone down my high level of idealism
and the intensity of my passion to help the "remote/rural and regional Australia" !

Generally I stay at the Townsend St Quest in Albury but recently stayed at this one over the Christmas period. I booked a studio and it was the perfect amount of space for one night and had a little kitchenette and separate bathroom. The room was really clean but the bathroom shower didn’t have a ‘flip’ so water flooded easily into the kitchen space and bathroom area. This is the only thing that could have been changed.
The aircon was a welcome treat when Albury peaked in the summer heat but it was also great being able to go for a short (6 min) walk into town and the Main Street. There is also a restaurant on the ground floor that looked fabulous!
The customer service here was a standout and their patience appreciated at such a busy/chaotic time. Reception staff were very friendly, accommodating and were able to let us check in an hour early as a custom request.
Overall, Quest is a consistently good stay when I travel and this was no different. Do recommend!

A booking was made for three nights from the 27 May at the Quest Apartments [ Kiewa Street ] in Albury.

On arrival a nasty smell permeated the corridors. I asked if there was a problem and the receptionist on duty mentioned I was not the first to notice this.

The room was basic but clean , but when the room was not serviced on two nights , and I was told it was not possible to have it done till I checked out next day night. I decided I too must check out.

It was interesting to hear from the reception desk all the reasons why my room was not serviced and why any refund for a unused night was not forthcoming.

Although I had reported on day one the room had not been serviced, the receptionist informed me it had been done as the contract cleaners said so. Any other cleaning on any day could only be done whist the cleaners were on site.

As I had left my bags in the room on day three whilst I tried to negotiate for the room the be cleaned, I was told that day would be charged for as it was now after check out time.

A refund could not be given as I had booked with Bookings.com

I asked if I could be given a clean room if it was impossible to clean that day. Firstly I was told yes, but then the manager said no.

This was one of the most uncomfortable accommodation experiences ever encountered.

Thanks for your feedback, we did get your survey and the issues that you brought up with the local tourist board. i have investigated the service issue with the house keeping team, on the Saturday we note that you requested the housekeepers that you do not require them at that point, and on Sundays there is no housekeeping service in most hotels in Australia, i have tried to call but we only have a UK mobile phone on your file. we hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Australia

I have stayed at these apartments numerous times on trips between Melbourne and Sydney with my family and have always found them to be a great option.
Rooms are a little older but very spacious, they are starting to get a little tired and a soft refurb would do wonders.
But I can't fault anything else with this property, free parking is great, cafe downstairs is amazing, staff are always friendly and very attentive.
I really like the location too, i find it very quiet around there but still so close to everything you need in town.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.

If Quest Albury change anything they will do themselves a disservice. I would rate Quest Albury as best in Albury/Wodonga (I've stayed at almost all of them) for value for money, customer service, and availability of access to local services (pubs, clubs, restaurant etc). Keep doing what you're doing, just excellent...
