As we are self contained we don't need power, so they dumped us at the furthest end where they've run out of road base. They can't help the wet weather, but there was room for us on road base. You can't get TV reception here without a cable which they offer to everyone else but not to unpowered sites. No...

We stayed here in our caravan for one night on our way to Carnarvon Gorge. They have some drive thru powered sites that are easy to pull into and suitable for big rigs. Long enough to stay hooked up. Friendly hosts and amenities are very clean and tidy. There is a general store a short walk away. Great little spot...

The campsite had such a friendly couple who run the place. They went out of their way to give useful information about the area, the surrounding parks and camping procedures. The site was clean, I was shown to my camping place and Kathy even helped me reverse my trailer in! It was a Great base for Carnarvon Gorge. Close to...

Dave and Kathy made our stay there so easy. We have a large van and a dog, so finding good sites isn't easy. Close to Carnarvon Gorge, they minded our dog for us so we could enjoy the trip. Big concrete slab with drive through facilities, clean amenities with hot showers. Close by pub has very good meals Monday to...

It's the only choice for around 100ks, so after a day of riding we found ourselves here and wanted a simple bed for the night with shower and toilet. After a very confusing time in reception we ended up paying $80 for a very run down cabin....the door only kind of jammed shut, light switches were very dodgy, there was...

Rang ahead for a booking and the manager was very accommodating. We arrived earlier than anticipated and this was no issue. Due to the length of the van we were placed on a really large site. Facilities were meagre, no camp kitchen but there was an outside bbq with lighting, the amenities were clean and spacious, and the showers were...

Travelling from Toowoomba to Townsville we decided to do some sight seeing and visit Carnarvon Gorge. This delightful caravan park is in a very small town aprox 60ks north of the Gorge. The caretakers were very friendly and helpful, the amenities were extremely clean, a pleasure to have a shower, so instead of paying high fees at the gorge come...

We were met with a big smile and friendly service. Gave us a site where we could remain hooked up. Simple park with lovely, clean amenities block. Had a lovely hot shower. Gave us a cable to hook to tv for reception. Thank you for a lovely restful stop.

We rocked up just before dark, were shown to a campsite that had more shade than normal (as they weren't too busy), and hat a great chat. Found out helpful info regarding Carnarvon George for next time. And the price is set by camper. One camper trailer is one price (i.e. not a price per head!). Great for a family...
